Ray looked at the small thing in the jar then back to the book, flipping a few pages while humming and flipped a few more. Peter leaned forward and tapped the jar. A small pink and yellow creature turned to him and made a strange purring sound that made Peter's eyes glaze over. Egon shook Peter's shoulders snapping him out of it.
"So, Tex, what is this thing?" Peter asked, shaking his head trying to clear it.
"I haven't found it yet." He didn't look up from the book.
Winston, who was helping him look, stopped on a page of the book he was looking through. He stared at the small pic in the book than at the jar. "Yo, Ray is this it?" He handed the book over.
"Yes." Ray got excited. "This is it." Than he got a scared look on his face. "Oh no."
Peter and Egon looked at each other than at Ray. They knew that he was hard to fluster and if he was worried it was bad "What is it, Ray?" asked Peter.
"It's worse than we thought," stated Ray.
"Raymond if its bad we have to know so we can prepare to handle it" stated Egon.
"It's not going to be that simple," Ray said looking at the jar with dread.
"My man we are the Ghostbusters, we can handle anything," said Winston.
"There," he gulped. "There, plot bunny's."
"Say what?" Winston asked.
Ray simply nodded.
"Plot bunnies, fascinating." Egon pushed up his glasses and peered at the jar.
"Ok so its a rabbit" peter stated.
"No, Peter, a plot bunny isn't like a normal rabbit." He handed the book to Egon and Peter. "They're not dangerous so much as they spontaneously start stories, pulling in the people around them. Those stories can be anything." Ray gulped. "And we have one"
"So we get rid of it ending the problem." Peter made to stand and pick up the jar. He was stopped when Egon put a hand on his arm."What Spengs?" Peter sat back down and looked at his long time friend.
"Peter this book says where one is found millions are hiding."
"Oh no," said Winston
"What?" Peter said. "There are millions of these?" He looked about fearing that they were around him even now.Janine came into the room just then.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"We have bunnies want one" peter asked with a gleam in his eyes.
She looked at the jar on the table and her eyes got huge. "Oh no not a plot bunny."
"You know of these things?" Egon asked in surprise. She returned his surprised look. "You mean you don't there all over the firehouse? Oh, yeah, their cute and all, but they're annoying as hell."
By now all four of them were staring at her. "You really don't know do you?" She stared at them.
"How long have you known about them?" asked Ray
"Well shortly after the Gozer thing they started to show up just a few at first then they were everyplace. Then they seamed to drop off now there back I see" she waved her hand to the jar.
Winston looked at Peter who just shrugged. "I never saw them."
"Well, I did and I have been blasting them," stated Janine she put her hands on her hips.
"Ah so that's how you improved your handling of the thrower." Egon looked intrigued. Just then they heard a cooing noise from the table when they looked at the jar there were now two in it instead of just one.
"This could be bad," stated Winston
"This could be very bad," Ray added.
