Title: Liquid silver.

Summary: The Doctor and Rose go swimming on a distant beach but disaster strikes. Sorry, rubbish title and summery. MerDoctor, no WolfDoctor.
I do not own Doctor Who or any of its characters. This story is purely for public enjoyment and no profit is made from the publishment of this work on the internet. (Is publishment a word? O.o)

"D'you fancy a bit of a break?" the Doctor stood around the other side of the console, basked in its golden light. Relaxing across the captain's chair, book in hand, Rose glanced up and grinned. "You serious?" she asked, dropping her legs back down and sitting up straight. He grinned his mad grin, beginning to dart around the console. "Take that as a yes. Right, why don't we go to Sardinia? Sardinia! Gotta love Sardinia! We didn't see much of it when we dropped Vanessa off, so I thought, well, maybe we ought to go have a look around" he continued grinning, leaning on the console. "Go for it!" grinned Rose, tucking the book into the little alcove behind the chair.

She helped him pilot, dancing around the console with him, levers and buttons whacked and pushed. They were travelling pretty smoothly when the TARDIS began to shake badly. Rose grabbed hold of the rail while the Doctor continued trying to steer. "We've been captured by something!" he yelled over the screeching of the Time Rotor. "Something's pulling us away! Hold on tight!" The TARDIS began to shake even more, tilting badly to the side.

The Doctor swore in Gallifreyan as he was tossed to the ground as the TARDIS landed with a soft THUD. "Well, then, where are we.." he pulled himself upright, leaping over to the scanner. "Oh, this isn't so bad! Holiday Planet, this is; Rashiplator. Nice place. Here" he lobbed her a bag with her swimming stuff in it, then threw his jacket, tie and coat over the railings, and kicked his converse and socks off, placing Sandals on instead. Rose re-appeared, wearing a swimming costume, towel under her arm. They strolled out into the warm sunshine of four suns, and stood at the edge of the water, just far enough back to avoid getting wet. The Doctor was staring upwards, looking at the four suns set in perfect corners, the faint silhouette of a lime green moon in the centre.

Carefully, so not to arouse suspicion, Rose placed her towel down, then with a swift movement, placed both hands on his back and shoved hard. The Doctor tumbled into the water with a gasp of shock and pain.
