Sorry, I don't own Wallflower!

Sunako entered Miss Noi's room with her breakfast, a ham and cheese omlete sprinkled with a little bit of sugar. And woke her up.

"Sunako-chan! The prince Takenaga's ball is tomorrow! I can't believe it, all available women are invited!" Noi screamed as she ate. She flung her spoon and accidentally spilled her juice on Sunako, "Oh no! I'm sorry Sunako-chan!"

"It's okay Miss Noi," Sunako said as she took off her stained apron.

"For the last time, call me Noi-chi!" Noi said, her cheeks puffed, "We are best friends you know!"

"Sorry, Noi-chi."

"That's better."

Sunako will never forget the day when Noi and her family took her under their wing. It was early in the spring three years ago when her parents died in a car accident. The trauma caused her to be suicidal and lose touch with reality, the everlasting darkness, that was until Noi took her in, ever since then she had been really grateful, although Sunako still clings to the darkness.

"Hey, Sunako-chan?"

"Yes Noi-chi?"

"Let's go shopping this afternoon, just you and me, for dresses for tomorrow night okay?"

"You want me to come with you tomorrow?"

Noi blushed, "W-well, if you want to go."

"I'd love to."

"A-are you sure? There will be lots of radiant creatures there, you might melt!"

"I'll be fine Noi-chi, don't worry."

The Palace

Takenaga left his room to find his guard, Kyouhei, standing outside his door.

"Gah!" Said the surprised Takenaga, "What the hell are you doing!"

"Guarding you, sir," the blond answered.

"Well don't surprise me like that, you're my bodyguard not a ninja!"

"Sorry."

"Nevermind that, anyway, this afternoon, I want you to come with me to go to Ranmaru's clothes shop and tell him to fix my jacket for tomorrows ball."

"Another excuse to go see Noi again?"

"Shut up!"

"I knew it." Kyouhei said triumphantly.

"Whatever! And don't forget to wear your sunglasses! I don't want anyone to jump you!"
