Disclaimer: Not mine, but as sure as Merlin was powerful, I know how to treat them a heck of a lot better, and I don't get paid in anything other than reviews!

AN: Inspired by How Severus spends his Hols by: Sevs lil Secret. LOL This is what happens when I try and get my mojo back and kick the muses butt in gear, a Crack!Fic just kinda jumps out. As you can see this doesn't follow canon in the least, it's just plain funny. Well I hope it is.

Blame it on the Moonshine

"Dumbledore, in a rare fit of defying the Ministry, has decided that I should teach you how to prepare a Muggle concoction from the Colonies called Moonshine. Now, this is a very volatile mixture, hence the location of class today, outside, well away from anything flammable, and as close to the lake as possible," Snape explained to his Seventh year potions class. He was extremely happy that Longbottom was no longer part of the class, even if he still had to deal with the 'Golden Trio', this class was going to be dangerous enough as it was without the most infamous student who held the school record for melted cauldrons.

"Now, because this is a very dangerous substance you will be making it along with me. Each group has its ingredients, yes, now first we shall…" Snape started to explain and show the exact way to create Moonshine.

Snape stood there and watched with great amusement. The double period class had gone surprisingly well. Well, that is until it came to the part where they had to use magic to speed up the fermentation process. It seemed that someone was a little over enthusiastic and ended up propelling their cauldron into the lake, which started a chain reaction. Quite a few cauldrons ended up in the lake, hence his amusement; it appeared that a very drunk Giant Squid and a group of drunken Merpeople were doing battle against each other. Or at least they were trying to do battle. Apparently their capacity for alcohol wasn't as great as their desire for a good fight because while their enthusiasm was great, their abilities were greatly hampered by the potent concoction they had imbibed.

"Class dismissed. Oh and Miss Granger, if you would be so kind as to inform the headmaster of the current situation in the lake," Snape said as he started to summon cauldrons from the grasps of the Merpeople.
