LOVE ME, LEAVE ME
"Professor Dumbledore I don't understand." a girl replied to the headmasters previous statement.
"What isn't there to understand Aundrea? Professor Snape is your biological father."
"But how can I…." Is all she had managed to say when Professor Snape came walking in.
"You wanted to see me." Professor Snape said looking at Dumbledore and then to Aundrea.
"Ah yes. Sit down please Professor. Now I was just telling Miss Aundrea here some information that I thought you might find useful."
"Wait a second Headmaster, he doesn't know?" Aundrea cut in confused.
"What don't I know?" Snape asked now looking back at the headmaster.
"This may come to a shock for you as it did for her but Professor Snape , you are and have been for 16 years, Aundreas' biological father."
"I'm sorry Sir but you must be mistaking me for someone else. I don't have a daughter."
"Well according to the birth certificate that Lily Adams filled out you are."
He took the birth certificate from Dumbledore and looked it over for a few minutes. " I thought she was lying when she told me she was pregnant. I should have listened."
"Umm… Professor Snape. Before my mother passed away she wanted me to give this to you." Aundrea handed an envelope over to her father and right away sat down as he started to open it.
Serverus,
I am sorry that I have kept Aundrea out of your life for the last 16 years, but as I recall you didn't want to believe me. Anyway since you are reading this I have already passed away. I never married so she has no one else to go to. I hope you will take her in and treat her well. Also I haven't told her about the arranged marriage that was planned so many years ago with her and Draco. So again please treat her well, and the reason why I never married is because I never stopped loving you.
Love you always,
Lily Adams
Professor Snape returned the note to the envelope and put it in his pocket before he said, "If you don't mind Sir I would like to talk to Aundrea in my office. There are matters we need to discuss."
"By all means go ahead and good luck to the both of you."
