"Hello boys," As soon as she stepped out of the locker room she was immediately greeted by her teammates walking towards the briefing room. She had to stifle a laugh. The air conditioner had been out for two days and their suffering were clearly written all over their faces.
Then one particular teammember slash her secret boyfriend showed up and the sight of him short-circuited her brain.
"How do you manage to stay so fresh?" Sam asked jokingly when he finally reached her.
"I think cool thoughts," She smugly answered. Not too cool right now though, Sam, no… Sam had left the buttons of his uniform undone. There was a thin sheen of perspiration glistened and coated his face and neck and somehow it had made his black shirt cling tighter to his body. His face slightly flushed and it was enough to melt her into a puddle of goo.
"Sweetheart, are you okay?" It was said in a whisper but it worked wonder in breaking her wonderful bubble.
"Sam! We talked about this!" She smacked his chest because they were in the headquarter with the rest of team around and not because she needed an excuse to touch him. She noticed though, that his shirt was damp where her hand had just touched him and her heart rate accelerated.
Sam chuckled. "You seem a bit… off,"
Jules rolled her eyes although she found it was rather difficult to stay mad at him when he was standing so close to her, looking like –that- nonetheless. The temptation to run her fingers through his neat sandy blond hair down to his body was strong, but not as powerful as her longing to take that gray clothing off.
"Jules?"
She blinked back to reality. Sam's eyes were fixed on her, concerned and questioning. Well, it's nothing you -can't- take care of, Braddock… Jules smiled. "Nah, it's just hot in here, isn't it?"
Maybe it was the sultry way she said it, or the impish suggestion twinkled in her doe eyes, or because the planet was rotating faster today, or maybe it was simply the heat, but Sam immediately caught her drift. He smirked. "Yeah, it's getting –really- hot in here,"
"You said it," Biting her lips in a way that positively driving him crazy, Jules walked passed him to join Lew, Wordy and Ed in the briefing room while he turned the other way to fetch himself a coffee.
She definitely wouldn't complain about the broken AC. She had her fantasies to keep her company after all.
