'I'm bored, when are we going home?' Darc stated loudly in an attempt to attract his brother's attention.

They had been at the Inn for over two hours now while Kharg discussed tactics with the other members of the Defence Corps. It was highly unusual for the half-Drakyr to be sitting in on one of these meetings, but it was pouring with rain outside. The abysmal weather meant that Darc was unwilling to amuse himself with any of his usual outdoor pursuits and while he would have been much happier staying at the house, Kharg had insisted he accompany him. The darker male suspected that his brother was still angry with him for knocking over the bookshelf and smashing a vase earlier in the week and had bought him to the Inn solely to ensure he was staying out of trouble.

'Shh, not now Darc. Can't you see I'm busy?' the former prince attempted to silence him whilst throwing his men an apologetic look.

'Hmm!' Darc grunted angrily, turning away from the blond.

He was thoroughly fed up with sitting around in the dingy, stale-smelling bar and could not begin to guess why humans were so attracted to such places; he had no interest in drinking alcohol and the smoke that seemed to permeate the atmosphere made him sneeze. His dislike for the Inn was only compounded by the fact that he hated to be ignored.

Suddenly, a wicked grin spread across the half-Drakyr's face as a plan began to formulate in his mind. He was sure he knew at least one way to ensure he had Kharg's undivided attention.

'This place is dull, there are far more interesting things for us to do at home,' Darc smirked, leaning towards his brother and taking a firm hold of his shoulder.

'What are you doing?' the former prince intoned irritably.

As his brother turned to face him, the darker male wrapped the fingers of his more human looking hand tightly around his chin and pulled the blond towards him. Before Kharg had a chance to react, Darc's tongue darted out and licked a glistening path from his jawbone to his ear. Letting out an exaggerated sigh, the half-deimos gently nipped his twin's earlobe with his sharp, pointed teeth.

'Darc, stop that!' Kharg cried, pushing his brother forcefully away from him as his face flushed a very fetching shade of pink.

'Then let's go home,' the darker twin spoke, raising one eyebrow meaningfully.

'Look I...I'm really sorry. I don't know what's got into him. I'd better take him home,' Kharg stuttered out, turning back towards the shocked-looking members of the Defence Corps.

Darc allowed himself to be dragged roughly from his seat as the lighter twin grabbed him by the arm and began to lead him forcefully towards the door.

*****

'What the hell were you thinking!' Kharg fumed as he fumbled in his pocket for the keys to the house.

'You know damned well what I'm thinking,' Darc smirked.

Not giving his brother a chance to chide him, he pushed the blond forcefully against the wall, raking his clawed hand through the lighter twin's rain-drenched hair as he bought them together in a fierce, lip-bruising kiss.

'Alright already, I get your point. Can we at least wait until we're inside?' Kharg spoke breathily as Darc pulled away from him.

As the former prince rushed to get inside the house, Darc grinned widely with satisfaction. He wouldn't be bored for much longer.
