TITLE: Mists of Memory
AUTHOR: Cathain02
EMAIL: Cathain@ididitmyway.com
PAIRINGS: Pez/Nottingham, slight Pez/Conchobar
SUMMARY: After "Transcendence," Pez remembers bits and pieces of the way life really went…
SPOILERS: Once it's finished, probably a little something from every episode.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: This is my first Witchblade fic (yes, I know I wrote "Master," but I started this *before* that), so fire away. Oh, and the song Conchobar sings ("The Legend of Cathain") is written as I found it on the official site, rather than the way it is on the show. One more thing, Sara's apartment is the one used in the movie, rather than the one used in the show (not too much different, but a little).
DISCLAIMER: Not a single Ian belongs to me…but can we buy some clones from Irons? (NOT EvilIan!)

__NIGHT 1__ "Danny"
It was like watching a television, Sara thought. She saw herself and Danny sitting in the car outside the Rialto, waiting for Gallo. Only this time, they followed him in. Things sped by in a blur and suddenly she was looking at Danny. He lay on the floor, Gallo's gun aimed at him.
The gunshot echoed in her ears as she fell off of her bed. She groaned at the sharp ringing of her alarm clock. Hold on a minute, she thought. If I fell off the bed, I should have hit the table. She looked around and realized that she must have turned around to face the end of the bed in her sleep. Weird.
"What a crazy dream," she muttered. Trying to forget what she had seen, she got up to go take a shower.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ian stood a few feet from Irons, his head bent in servitude. He waited in silence as his master completed a business call. Suddenly, his head snapped up as an image burned through his mind--Sara watching as Tommy Gallo killed her partner in the Rialto.
But that had never happened.
"Ian? Ian, what's wrong," Irons asked, concerned as he watched his bodyguard.
"Something happened."
"What do you mean?"
"I am uncertain. Whatever is may be, Lady Sara will take care of it," Ian answered, quickly bowing his head again.
Irons turned away, contemplating Ian's choice of words. Lady Sara, he thought. Ian is beginning to turn his loyalties. That cannot happen.
I will not allow it.
