A GW poem. Based on the great Shinigumi Duo Maxwell.
Heart's Melody
Of the heart, the songs are many.
Some of joy and laughter,
Some of fear and pain.
I often walk down a street and listen with envy,
At the songs of love and light,
That is heard at the end of each passing plight.
Often I feel jealous that those hearts can sing
Songs of peace and kindness.
Whereas mine, keeps silent
No matter my quandary,
My heart refuses to sing.
Be it a song of momentary love or eternal pain,
Any song would bring me peace
To settle the silence in my heart.
