The Dark Veela Chronicles

Prolouge:I Love Another

Alexandria Dimitrov exited the Gryffindor common rrom, swathed in her invisibilty cloak. She set off down the winding halls and up to the astronomy tower. She entered quietly and closed the door behind her. The room's occupant turned around at the noise and she pulled her cloak off.

"Alexandria." he walked quickly to her side and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Let me go." her tone was cold. He let her go and looked searchingly into her crimson eyes.

"Alex? What's wrong?" his hands rested on her cheeks.

"The tribe is moving. I have to choose a mate." her voice was flat. Emotionless.

"T-they are?" he choked out, "When?"

"Tommorrow. I have chosen." she stepped back, "It's not you."

He looked stricken. Desperate, "But, but Alex, I love you. Doesn't that matter."
She turned her head away, "I don't love you."

"Don't say that." for every step that he took towards her, she took back.

"It's true." He raised his hand and swiftly back handed her.

"You haven't heard the last of this Alexandria. Mark my words." He turned and left the room.

She sighed softly and pulled her cloak around her again.

"I'm sorry." she whisphered into the night.

Ezekiel James Potter sat in the common room waiting for her return. He looked at his watch. 3:27. She had been gone for fifteen minutes. He stared wearily into the dying fire waiting for her return. The clock chimed. Half Past Three. The portrait opened and he looked up. Alexandria walked in, a light bruise forming on her left cheek.

"Lexie?" She turned to him, and let her cloak fall to the floor.

"Ezekiel." She said softly. Tears filled her beautiful eyes and started cascading down her soft, tan skin.

He was by her side instantly. He hugged her gently as she sobbed into his chest.

"...Told him I didn't love him...so angry...I've never seen him so angry..." she mumbled into her chest as the sobbung subsided. She had chosen him as her mate and she got hurt for it.

Tom Marvolo Riddle strode down the corridor angrily. Stupid Cow! She had rejected him. Chosen Pureblooded Potter over him. He was right. Purebloods got everything. He was going to show her. Alexandria Dimitrov was not going to get away with rejecting him.
