No DBZ is owned by me. *Tra-lala*A/N:
I wrote this when I was listening to the song 'Gohan's Death', from the movie
The History of Trunks. That's an extremely good movie and probably my favorite DBZ movie ever. I nearly cried (sappy, sappy me) when Trunks found Gohan, brutalized and dead. The music that played was just moving. And I wrote this and realized how familiar it sounded, as if it were coming from Trunks' point of view. Sooo...here it is.Burnt
...
Relentless hungers, burning dim
How do you get inside of me?
The rain is falling, for us again
In this last moment;
Together.
I see the sky, brimming night
I close my eyes and open them again
And it is yet still dark.
I hear a solo, in my mind
Anger, pain, loss in twine
How do you get inside of me...
This solo plays for us alone
I want to reach you;
Too far gone.
Throbbing veins, for a throbbing heart
My fire's low;
Yours has burnt out.
The road is long
The rain is steady
Talk to me...
I'm trying to listen
A name etched onto my fevered heart
Too far gone for me to save you now...
I hear the thunder
The tears, my rain
I'm calling, through the mists of my pain.
Death has gripped your soul
Pulled you into the darkest depths
Leaving me alone with the smoke from your flame.
I'm trying to reach the point again
Where I can hear your words within me
But no, it's just the wind...
My heart is not one, but two
A half part, a lone star, a fragmented dream
So young to lose, but has lost anyway...
My master, my light
The rains can't wash this away
The everlasting, rawest pain.
...Where am I?
Where are you?
Am I fading?
...Is this just a dream?
Can reality change?
Am I too young to stand...alone?
I lost you in the rains
In the prelude of our solo, gained
How this gets inside of me...
I lost you from my life
(No...)
From my sight, I can only see
(My vision blurs)
The shell of who you used to be.
(That can't be you...
You were...alive...)
I lost you to the world
(My home...)
An end met in the pillage of hatred's flame
(After so many battles...)
Never too young to take revenge...
(Never)
I lost you in the grip of an angel.
(Now, are you home?...)
