As the dark clouds gathered together and droplets gathered on the mossy ground, sixteen year old Wallabee Beatles looked out his smeared and smudged window. He had always hated the rain. The way it soaked the ground to the bone, the way it drenched everything in that oh so dangerous liquid- water, Wally shuddered- and the way that it signified that it would be another day without sunshine. The small drops of water collected on his window and he sighed. This day, he knew, would be worse than all the other wet or soggy days. This was worse because a certain girl was gone.
Kuki. The mere thought of her name brought a scarlet blush to his cheeks and a smile to his lips, but the smile was replaced by a longing frown as he remembered the Japanese girl who was visiting her grandmother in Japan. Ever since Monday, which was a whole four days ago, it had been gloomy weather. Everyone else didn't seem to mind the way the skies were pouting as if it too was missing the cute Asian, but Wally minded. The weather seemed all the worse without the happy singing of Kuki ringing through the tree house, oblivious to the rain showers outside.
Wally bit his lip, and his own rain shower poured down his cheeks. A crack of lightning seemed to scold Wally for crying about the special Japanese girl. He furiously wiped the tears from his face.
"I was not crying." He whispered angrily at the floorboards. The clouds parted in as a small ray of sunshine peeked through the clouds. A small worm of hope wriggled its way into Wally's heart. He smiled and his emerald sparkled with joy. He quickly replaced his dreary orange hoodie with a bright tangerine one and waited for the love of his life, the sparkle of magic to walk through the door. The door opened and the clouds disappeared and in it's place was not only the sun, but a beautiful rainbow.
A/N: I can't believe I wrote that. Lolz.
