I wrote it a while ago. Beautiful rainy night. I didn't like it back then but now… I'm kind of proud of it. As David (Leigh Whannell in Saw 0.5) is one of my favourite characters, I always enjoyed the thought of him being a part of the whole franchise.
For me – he is. As Adams' brother.

And I like the thought of a romance between him and Hoffman too.
Simply beautiful.

This actually happens after the reversed beartrap.

Stumbling through the hall
Blood oozing from his pretty face
Watches the cockroaches scuttle up the walls.

His fingernails scrape against the rusted wall
The red fluid trailing behind him
His bloodied hands fumble for the door.

His name is David Faulkner.

The tears spill from his greenish gray eyes
Tears of warm, wet blood
The hallway echoes with his cries.

David is bleeding.

He thought one man could save him
That he would take him away
Now he became a monster, trapped in Jigsaws hell - dear God, how it hurt.

David is helpless.

Those soulless, vicious beasts
How could he not know? How could he be so blind?

Confusion wracks his brain
As he struggles to stand upright
Tries to think clearly - to take away the pain.

David was a nurse, once.

Mark Hoffman is gone
His only saviour for miles
Now he's all alone.

The sobs wrack his body
As he collapses to his knees
His mind is slowly fading... and he can never be free.

His name is David Faulkner.
Helpless and bleeding.

Let me know what you think about this little poem.
If you like it, I might write one about Lawrence and Adam. :)
