It wasn't his first kiss; he'd had kisses before Romano.
His first was hard to say now, but it probably had been with Roderich during their marriage; somewhere early on they'd kissed gently in childish youth and innocence.
It would be a while before they took it farther than that, but it would still remain in their marriage.
Spain though would have a very different type of romantic encounter later on that defied his childishly innocent and very gentle relationship with Roderich as England would come into the picture.
England would anger him so yet he'd also lit up a passionate flame that Spain had known nothing about before, but somehow it never became the sweet love that Spain would cherish for much longer.
The next lips that he'd meet would be Romano's at last though they did nothing to be heated or violent yet seemed so much more stubborn and cute than he'd recalled from his own younger years though Romano was different, vastly so from Spain.
There would come a time when Romano would leave him for independence with not so much as a goodbye kiss though something told Spain of a vastly different return.
He'd eventually turn back to England for warm lips though they too seemed cold in the wait and the passions far too violent for who Spain was now.
Eventually, Romano would return, a bit differently than when he'd left.
He returned far more passionate that gave Spain an inkling into a lot more practice on the South Italian's side or at least a bit more knowledge as to how things were leading.
Spain found himself, lost and submitting, under the passionate rays of Romano's love though while he'd done the same in Romano's absence, he felt betrayed by something he could not name.
His thoughts on the matter would vanish in time due to his desire to hold Lovi close and spend as much time as possible with him.
Though sometimes when he asked Lovi about his brother, the South Italian's eyes would shoot downward and some taboo emotion was never quite hidden.
History had done quite some strange things to them that never fully left them.
