Hello everyone, I have decided to post this because I felt like God wanted me to. To those of you who don't believe in the Bible and God, then you don't have to read it. Just know that I still love you as a human being. With that said here is an example of what love is. If you would like to know more then you are free to pick up a Bible.
What is love? Love is forgiving others for what they have done to us. Love is becoming a servant and washing other people's feet. Love is making yourself less and dieing so that the entire world could be saved. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevere. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. People often say "I'll love you if you do this for me" that is not true love, that is conditional love. True love is unconditional, just like the love that God has for us. He loves us so much that he separates us from our sin as far as the east is from the west and he forgets about it. He loved us so much that he sent his only son to die on the cross so that we might be saved. If that isn't love then I don't know what is.
