Hmm...Now I, until quite recently, had no time for SasuNaru. However, for a while Redbull07 made it her mission to convert me, and literally snowed me under with links for storys. So as a Christmas present and to show that I was converted I wrote this for her ^^ I hope you all enjoy.

Please, please review! I will bug you no further.

Sasuke was a loner, he knew this well. He had always preferred to be alone, away from the noises and distractions that other people bought with them. He liked silence, peace, time to reflect and think.

Naruto was a pack animal. He craved the company of others above all else, their recognition, their love, their companionship and noise. He couldn't stand the silence and always tried to fill it with laughter or shouts.

Sasuke had one goal, one single mission in life. Kill his brother and avenge his family. He worked towards it tirelessly, never stopping, all but forgetting everything else to achieve it. Every thing was seen as a way to better himself to achieve this goal. He held little altruism in his soul.

Naruto could, to Sasuke, never seem to make his mind up about what he wanted. Of course, his main goal was to become Hokage, but as well as that he would jump from task to task, taking it upon himself to do jobs and missions for others, with no gain for himself at all. Large or small he would devote his time to each until it was seen through.

Sometimes Sasuke hated Naruto. He had nothing, yet he had everything. He possessed a charisma, a charm which allowed him to blunder through life with seemingly no cares at all, befriending everyone he met. Changing them. Sasuke had never had that skill. He couldn't make people trust him, his eyes were too cold, his expression too arrogant, a coal winter to Naruto's summer blue.

Often Naruto hated Sasuke. He seemed to learn effortlessly, picking up skills with ease whereas Naruto had always had to work hard to perfect something. Everyone admired Sasuke, the last Uchiha, a genius, the one who could solve any problem. Naruto was just a fool, someone who ran in shouting and messed everything up, who relied on pure luck, not skill, to pull through.

The two of them were polar opposites, so different in temperament, appearance, ability and even mindset. Sasuke couldn't understand why he was so attracted to the blond fool, why his company wasn't irritating; his noise wasn't distracting, why silence around Naruto was the worst thing imaginable.

He had been told once that opposites attract. He had scoffed at the time, how could people who are so different be attracted? They would argue, irritate each other. He hadn't believed it at the time, but as he looked at his blond beauty sleeping beside him, tan skin against pale, blond against black, sun against moon, he knew it was true.

He had of course been right. They did argue and they did get on each others nerves. But somehow it had become something endearing between the two. The insults became nicknames, the differences complimented each other and they levelled out the extremes, becoming whole as a result. Two damaged souls repairing together.

Two was almost one, Sasuke would reason, pulling the sleeping figure closer, and perhaps, if he could pull him close enough, they could become one. If they couldn't it didn't matter, after all, you can't be different if you have no one to be different to.

You know when I said I wouldnt bug you anymore? I lied!! Bwhahaha! Please review, it means a lot to get reviews from my wonderful readers ^^
