Religious DifferencesIt was an unassuming planet, all brown dirt and rocks, nothing to suggest anything of value to the ragtag remnants of the twelve colonies. The pilot of the Raptor that landed there could see value in the planet however, or rather his sensors could. While sensors registered barely enough Tylium ore for a month of fleet operation, something in the rocks occluded his sensors enough that reading might be off, either way it would still be worth the effort to extract it. He collected samples of both the Tylium and unknown material, little knowing of how his actions would change everything.
The Tylium was soon forgotten. After tests on board the Galactica it was determined that the strange new material had an energy output roughly a hundred times that of Tylium, this along with information the Chief obtained from studying the Cylon FTL drives allowed them to enact a desperate plan. They had long since discovered that Earth lay in another Galaxy, now they had the means to get there. After feeding some misinformation to a recently discovered Cylon spy, the fleet jumped to the home of the 13th Colony. The Cylons followed.
Six was annoyed, after years of careful manipulation and prodding the humans in order to discover humanities last refuge, her plans were falling apart. They had searched for the signals from Galactica for weeks now without avail. While it was possible the fleet was destroyed or the transmitters found, both scenarios seemed unlikely. A system wide alert quickly silenced and though of failure and brought a smile to her face, they had found earth.
Well not Earth, that scenario seemed unlikely given that the population was roughly 2 million and there were no signs of advanced technology. Still it was probably a colony and so would know its location. It was this though that lead Six here, standing near a public gathering. She had no trouble blending with the crowd having "acquired" some local garments from an unfortunate Villager. Still as she approached the lone speaker fell silent. She stopped and the crowd parted revealing a man unlike any she had ever seen.
"Are you Human"? She asked, curious as to his strange appearance. He stopped before her and stared blankly for a moment before speaking.
"Hallowed are the Ori".
Yes this is a BSG/Stargate crossover, I had this spamfic in my head and had to get it out. We have one group of Religious fanatic meeting another. Somehow I doubt this will end well for the Cylons.
