Ode to The Raven
O demon of night,
With coat darker than black,
Spread thy wings and soar through endless dark skies.
Eyes like garnet jewels,
A cold, bone-chilling stare,
Peering into mind body and soul.
A creature of impruity,
Some people say,
But they see no beauty in sin.
Smite out thy enemies,
And play your game of pretend,
As thy raven, oh thy beautiful, obsidian darkness,
Strikes again.
