It was dangerous times and sadly long before Harry saved the the world from being swallowed by darkness. Hagrid was alone for almost all of it. After Harry's fourth year of Hogwarts, he didn't visit Hagrid that much or even at all some years. Hagrid never was upset though; he understood that Harry had a lot on his plate. Way more than a teenage boy should have to deal with. The weight of the world on his shoulders.
Hagrid got lonely, and he was frightened that he would always be alone. He had dreams of what to do in his life. That did not involve getting expelled from Hogwarts, becoming a gatekeeper for the school, and living on school grounds for the rest of his life. His life has been rough and different then other lives. But the only thing that made him genuinely happy as in "the hills are alive" happy was one tall girl named Madame Maxime. Which to Hagrid was the most amazing creature that walked on this planet. All he had left from her was one measly picture. Sometimes when Hagrid felt lonely, he would look at the picture and it would make him feel happy that he just ever held such a beautiful and real woman.
Two years after the Triwizard Tournament, Hagrid decided to go and make a surprise visit to Madame Maxime for the summer. Now that the world was getting crazier and crazier by the second he wanted Olympe Maxime to know how he felt about her before both their lives were at stake. He traveled to France toward Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. He rented a Condo from "Condos conte de dragon" just in case it was not going to go as splendidly as Hagrid had in mind. So he could at least have a nice vacation in France. It was himself, a backpack, and a walking stick on there way to Beauxbatons Academy.
He walked up the front steps in which felt like it was the longest walk he has ever taken. The stairs lead towards what looked like an elephant door. The door looked almost larger than the entrance to Hogwarts, which is hard to believe. Hagrid opened the door and out came about a thousand girls in sky blue uniforms. Hagrid stood there in fear standing side ways, while watching them come fluttering toward him so gracefully. He closed his eyes and when he opened them again he noticed that they all sped by him and he didn't feel a thing. When he walked in he saw that the walls were all velvety red. He walked towards the tallest human door that he could find than knocked.
Out came a vision of pure beauty. "Hiya Oly," aid Hagrid a little nervously.
"Agrid?" she replied very surprised.
