Disclaimer: Victorious doesn't belong to me. Dan owns all that is good.
The drops of rain are tapping on your window, begging for you to let them in, out of the harsh storm. You begin to wonder what it feels like to be rain or a cloud. You like how clouds are so high in the sky or how they form mysterious shapes that make you laugh, or just borderline confused. You wouldn't like to be the rain, sure its refreshing and all, but you will always find yourself on the filthy ground, constantly being stepped on. Somewhere in your thoughts, you think what it would be like to be a star, no, not celebrity stars, but the stars in space. To be shining and being a distant light for the creatures below. To smile at all the people who surround you, to show people who underestimate you that you are able to be good at something else besides being fake. But somewhere in the end, you'll be a supernova, an exploding star that once existed. You think being human is all that, but your past flashes in your eyes and you start to hesitate about your decision. You're haunted, history tailing your back, and ever so often, sneaking up to you when you're sleeping or thinking about nothing in particular. You want to get rid of the pain, the memories, the photographic pictures, you don't want any evidence of your past to be witnessed. That's why you wear a mask, the carefree, a little crazy personality you're trying to be. You get lost in conversation easily, unless it's about animals, or ice cream, and you seem to leave your presence at the lunch tables, while you think about butterflies and how free they are, to be able to spread their wings, no matter how small, and just fly away to nirvana. The constant bullying, the fighting, the feeling of abandonment. And of course there is your only savior, the person that really cared for you was your brother, but all good things come to an end, a few years back, he got into a crash. Your parents blamed you, you really don't know why, you weren't even there. You were with the person that made you feel worthy, your best friend. She's the only one outside of your family, that knows what's behind that candy-coated, ditsy, glitter mask you always wear to show people what you're not. She tells you what you are, a worthy, smart, and amazing person that most people can't live without. And its true, because that's exactly what your savior said to you. She's your arch-angel from heaven who pulled you out of a death trap, and she's holding you close to her heart, and telling you that you're perfect, and you just want to be something that's good enough for anyone, but of course, that didn't exist, until you met your arch-angel.
Heyy... I would love reviews or constructive criticism please.
Thanks for reading. It's kinda angsty.
