I absolutely hated the new school uniforms. It wasn't me. This is me. My black clothes, my jean jacket, my rings. Does Simpson really think that just because there is a new dress code at School, everyone is going to stop kissing and doing things normal teenagers do? And really? A security system? I mean, I understand it. Fitz did try and stab me, But he didn't. And just because Fitz had a knife doesn't mean every person in the entire school carries one around in there trench coat ready to whip out at any given time. My new girlfriend, Clare, means the world to me. But I'm not sure I'm ready for a relationship… I just need to face the truth and stop being a wimp. I'm not over Julia.

Julia… Julia… Julia… My one true love. The most amazing woman I've ever known. The only one who understands me. The real me. The real Eli. God. I hate myself. Stop it Eli. Stop! You have a girlfriend. Julia is Dead. I sigh angrily at myself. I walk down the halls of school and I see Clares beautiful green eyes look up at me from down the hallway, Standing next to my locker.

"Hey Clare bear," I said, slipping my hand on her waist and opening my Locker, twisting the combination slowly.

"Just Clare remember?" Clare murmered, smiling gently.

"How could I've forgotten?" As my locker opened, a few papers fell out and I stuffed them back in quickly. I denied how messy it was, Grabbed my needed books, and slammed it.

"Geez, Eli. Hoarder much?" Clare joked, playfully poking my shoulder.

I tried to smile, and hide the pain from my eyes. "Yeah." I swallowed hard, my throat dry. "Have you seen Adam? He's supposed to come over and play video games after school." I quickly changed the subject.

"No, Not recently. I saw him this morning right when I got here. He might be in the computer lab?" She said confused.

"Oh, Well I'll find you later okay?" I said, trying to brush past her.

"Eli.. Wha-?"

I cut her off. "No, It's fine. I- I just have to go."

"Did I say something? I'm sorry. But.. E-Eli, Stop. Talk to me. Your acting Physco," Clare muttered, touching my arm.

I starred straight ahead.

"Eli?"

I was silent.

Clare bit her chapped lips, and quickly let go of his shoulder. "Fine, Whatever. How about you just.. not find me later," She growled, walking off. She looked over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of me starring after her, and quickly looked away.

Eli closed his eyes and cursed himself. "Damn it, Eli. Damn you." He grumbled to himself, Walking to the computer lab to find Adam.
