A/N: I don't own Harry Potter, I only own my ideas. Dedicated to Miss Holliday, we miss you a lot and you inspire me, plus you are very much like Lupin.

Harry Potter walked into his Defence Against the Dark Arts professor Remus Lupin's classroom surprised to see Lupin packing up his few possessions. Harry had had the craziest week. He had saved his godfather Sirius Black who was an innocent man from being given the Dementors kiss, he had almost caught Peter Pettigrew, he had knocked out Snape by accident and he had discovered that Professor Lupin was a werewolf. Harry had even witnessed the transformation himself. Although he thought the last would prove to be the least of his problems, it actually wasn't.

"Professor we were worried about you we weren't sure how well you'd hold out after the full moon. Plus Hermione is sure she got question 16b wrong on her exams, although she won't be able to come here till later. I thought I'd come and check up on you now." Harry said while pushing his hair out of his eyes. Most students didn't genuinely care about their teachers, but everybody couldn't help but love Lupin. He was one of the most kind and caring teachers or people you would ever meet. Although he had a shabby appearance and a furry little problem once a month, he was very wonderful.

"Oh that Miss Granger, she is very brilliant she got every question right so tell her that she'll be fine." Remus said to Harry.

"How'd I do professor?" Harry asked. He didn't care too much but figured that if Hermione got every question right, nothing more than he must've gotten a P at least on his exam.

"You don't have to call me professor anymore Harry. Although I did enjoy that title while I had it..." Harry's eyes went wide. "Yes, Harry I am leaving. I'd like to have stayed but it somehow got out that I'm a werewolf and I'll have to find work elsewhere. "Remus sighed after saying the last little bit. He knew that he was very well liked amongst the students and most of the staff too. He had a sweet disposition and enjoyed reading, so he was awfully quiet. Quite ironic really considering that he had been best friends with James Potter and Sirius Black, two of the loudest boys Hogwarts had ever known. Although Fred and George Weasley were almost the modern versions of them as Remus had noticed often.

" Sir, I don't want you to go. You were the best teacher we ever had-" Harry started but before he could plead anymore Professor Lupin interrupted his eyes locking with Harry's

" I didn't chose to go. I have no choice but to go Harry, you must understand-" and Harry without taking his eyes off of Lupin said

"Every day with you was like a holiday, Professor." Lupin had never felt so loved and happy with what he had done. He had to look away from Harry at that moment. He had really inspired these students to be something big and beautiful. He smiled at Harry and with the final click of his trunk said "

You know Harry, everyone talks about you being the Boy-Who-Lived, and having everything like your father but, your mother's eyes. I believe there is a greater good in you and that you may cause trouble like James, you are every bit as caring, understanding and loyal as Lily was. " Harry, Hermione and Ron had almost been like friends to him, especially Harry, he didn't want to say with that Remus left the room and as he continued walking to catch the next train to his flat in London he heard Harry say

"Goodbye, I won't forget you Professor." And from that point on all the way to his train in Hogsmeade Station Remus Lupin had a spring in his step and a smile lighting up his face.
