One-Shot

Nothing was heard and nothing was seen, all the streets beneath the shadows of the grey clouds were devoid of human life except from the scavengers and grunts from time to time.

The buildings were torn down from past wars and painted in gang's symbols and sometimes the blood of their enemies. Yet in some parts of the city people could be seen making an honest life, selling the little they could find and create inside their homes. The nights here were the worst, the city was infested with gangs trying to survive and it was at this time in the shadows that fights and killings happened;to protect themselfs civilians hide inside their torn homes, the only place they knew and yet still didn't feel safe.

This is how it works, in this human jungle only the strongest survive and the weak have to fend for themselfs.

And like gangs weren't enough the people also feared something that they never saw, the only giving of its presence happened in nights of full moon, nights much like this one.

So poluted this city that the moon couldn't be seen in the most part of it, but the clouds were mercifull and gave road to some moonlight that shined down in the buildings and it was there, at that moment, that a sound was be born, a sound so much like the ones that were lost 200 years ago, a howl born from a Wolf.

This full moon night was no different and a howl was heard; then sitting there at the highest building was a shadow bathed by moonlight with its face tuned up to sing to the heavens above, the form of a big dog.

But many things are not what they seem and this one is no exception to that rule, this was the shadow of a wolf.

The brief pass of the moonlight granted us a vision of how the wolf looked. Its skin was marred with scars the biggest and deformed ones in its chest and sides, yet the one who defines this character was the scar that traveled from its right temple, running down its right eye to finally rest in the chin.

The moonlights are brief in this city so the howling finishes at the same time the clouds close the moon from any prying eyes.

The wolf stands up; it's a female from the looks of it, and stays there immobile; after some time she opens her amber colored eyes and looks at the far side of the city were freedom could be achieved if one were strong and mad enough, but she wasn't any more for her scars weren't only in her skin they were also in her heart, a heart that was plagued by pain and yet it earned to find someone. Every time she closed her eyes, flashes from memories and feelings long time ago acquired appeared to torment her and yet make her stronger and to never forget that she could never trust, for the one that she once could trust in her past life was not at her side anymore.

Her eyes narrowed and she scowls.

"Where are you?" (I miss you)

Thank you for reading my one shot, I don't know if I should make this in a full story because I have some problems called "Major Writing Blocks" many times XD

So what do you guys think?

Should I make this a full story?
