The Silent Message

My arms are lifeless, they wouldn't move, they just lie there still as the moon.

My legs are bent at odd angles, las if I wear an open umbrella, they preventing me to even trying to crawl.

There is a pain in my lower abdomen, a shock runs through my body and a sluggish warmth slithers out around me.

My heart was beating as fast as a bomb going to explode, but now I hear slow beats of a grave drum sounding out like they were right before Antoinette's last stand.

My neck is stiff, my face down into the dirt, the aroma of metal reaches out to me.

Nothing but silence, no children laughing, no adults scolding, but no cries or screams either, where has the world gone?

I spasm and open my mouth, my throat aches, my back arches, only nothing comes out but thick liquid that I cannot even taste.

I open my eyes for he source of this conundrum, all is black, no smiling faces, no cruel eyes in front of me glinting, what has happened to everyone?

Nothing of mine is functioning, nothing of mine is mine, wait, what's this?

The tiniest movement, the only feeling in my body, my fingers.

They twitch and curl, they write a tale for the others to see, maybe someone will find it before I-

A whistle blows through the air and a squish echoes in the breeze.

The index finger lays on the last letter speaking of the incident committed today, only for the words to reach dead eyes.
