For people reading "Confession" : I'm so sorry that I haven't done any updates for a while but I've been kinda busy with school life. I know what I am gonna write about (shocker for me) but I need to actually sit down and think how to word it. Or stay in the shower longer than needed. Is it weird I get my best ideas in the shower? Anyways, This…short thing is being typed up at 2:00 pm at the library today and I just wanted to get something out in two hours, something that can't be done for that particular story. It's not abandoned, I promise!
I feel that I best write Ferb and Isabella in short, confusing, and makes-you make- your- own -prequel stories. It's fun and I know I never get anything done if I think about it. Like how I play music in a way. Which is a terrible idea but works for me! :P
A longer story idea has been popping up in the last week but I don't know if it's writable.
This takes place on a slightly windy clear autumn night…
Instinct
Instincts are funny things.
It's your body on autopilot, basically. When your mind's not working it's what you depend on.
He depends on it because he remembers everything that happened.
She depends on it because she can't recall a thing.
"You're not supposed to be here."
"Why?"
She felt compelled to be here. A problem…. she was always here when she had a problem.
He backed away. He couldn't help her. Never again.
"Please…"
"Don't leave! Something told me to come here, to fix a problem. I don't know your name but please…help me!"
"You're supposed to leave."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"I don't remember!"
He had to hug her. That what he always did. He always comforted her.
Her head went automatically to his shoulder. A flood of warm memories broke through her head. She managed to pick out a name.
"Ferb…"
"I'm sorry, Isabella."
Don't cry, Ferb. You're helping me. You're not doing anything bad.
"I'm the one that caused it. I did it. I made you mad. I made you…"
"It's not your fault. It's not anyone's fault."
More memories came back. They weren't warm at all. Painful, in fact. She felt anger, then surprise, then nothing. But as they played a second time in her mind she felt each of them surrounded by the same feeling.
"…Love."
She wasn't making any sense! His mind went into a blank at the lack of clarity. So his instincts took over.
He kissed her.
It was like heavy chains were suddenly being dropped from her body. She felt like she was flying. No, she was flying.
They held on to each other's hands until she was completely in the air.
"Thank you...for everything."
Then she let go, disappearing in the moonlight.
Ferb looked into his hands and jumped in shock. There was a lily materializing in his hands.
And it looked like the ones he puts on her grave every day.
