Tal Graile-Rerem sat on his bed, inside a suite of rooms that belongs
to his family. He was thinking of something.or someone. He was thinking of
Milla of the Icecarls.
It was almost two years after the great battle of Sharrakor in the world of Aenir. Milla and Tal soon parted to go on their separate ways. Tal was proclaimed Emperor of the Chosen, and Milla was War-Chief of the mighty Icecarls.
Tal missed Milla and her Icecarl wildness, and thought of her every day since they were separated. He remembered one time, just after both went to Aenir to retrieve a lost artifact, Tal found Chosen robes so they can keep cover. He ordered Odris and Adras(their temporary Spiritshadows) to form a wall between them to keep their nudity. But, for a second Tal looked up and saw Milla.naked. He couldn't help blushing when he saw her body without those dirty armor and furs. And in the long while, he noticed that it was more than a normal parted friendship.
"Oh, what am I thinking!", he said aloud, blushing, "That couldn't happen. Besides, if Milla knew I was thinking of these things, she'd kill me!"
But, he knew he was taking this relationship a bit more than that. He thought that maybe Milla shared the same thought about him as well.
"That wouldn't happen," he said, dismissing the idea, "But, it was a while since we-"
"Tal! Dinner's ready!"
It was his mother, Graile, calling for dinner. With a last look at Milla in his mind's eye, he stood up and headed for the dining table.
"Coming!"
