Arthur Kirkland was walking down a hallway of his court-people said it was Henry VII's court, but it was in truth his-when he heard, "Engwand!"

Knowing who it was he turned with a raised brow nonetheless; smiling as six year old Elizabeth came running towards him, wrapping her arms around his legs in a hug. She was such a sweet and yet fiery tyke, even with that minor speech impediment of hers. It would be gone soon no doubt.

"Well hello there." When the princess let go England knelt, bowing to his future queen. Suddenly pain jolted through his body as the tyke commenced yanking his hair! "Ow! Lass, what are you doing? Ow!"

"Get up!" She ordered, sounding as fierce as a six year old can, but she was angry. "Get up! Get up Engwand!" Feeling her yank hard again the country obeyed. She was yanking on his hair and she was his princess; either way he didn't have a choice. She glared at him, hands on her hips, as he stood fully. "You're England!" Well, she improved when she was angry. Good to know. "You're England!" She stated again. "You don't bow down to anyone, not even me! Never bow down, ever!"

He smiled; feisty little thing wasn't she? Nodding he did a sweeping bow. "Yes Your Majesty. Ow!"

"No bowing down!"

Rubbing his sore noggin the country straightened up. "Your Majesty, you are my princess and future queen; I must bow down to you. But rest assured little one, the great English empire will never bow down to anyone else."

She smiled triumphantly, happy with his response. Then her expression changed to a serious one. Reaching up the little girl grabbed Arthur's shirt and drew him down, so she was looking straight into his eyes. Arthur noted that the little girl seemed transformed, like she was much older than she looked. "England, you are a great country, and I'm going to make you even better. You and I are going to create something wonderful together, I just know it."

Looking into the little girl's eyes England could see his future in them. And the future looked extraordinary. "I don't doubt that for a second m'lady."
