Antonio nearly retched, tasting what could only be black, unflavored coffee; this wasn't what he ordered.

Where was his sugary sweet, mocha coffee with whipped cream on top with chocolate chips and cherries on top?

He grumbled under his breath; he'd be late if he didn't hurry up, but he couldn't drink this black coffee as the bitterness nearly made him vomit at it's taste.

Antonio rushed back over to the counter and nearly knocked over another man that had gotten there first which resulted on a stain on the pristine man's suit.

He cursed up a storm, and glared straight at Antonio.

Lovino Vargas was pissed!
They gave him sugary crap that would probably give him diabetes or kill him straightaway, and now someone ran in to him and spilled their coffee on him.

"I'm sorry! Lo siento! I didn't mean to do that; I was only going to make sure that I got my intended coffee other than black coffee." The man freaked out, and tried to clean off Lovino's suit.

"Were you the one that took my coffee?" Lovino demanded the other one to answer him.

"Lo siento! I didn't mean to!" Antonio panicked as he continued to attempt to clean the other's suit.

"Fuck it! It's not coming clean, and now you owe me another suit!" Lovino cursed as the other man attempted to clean his suit before he stopped after what the Italian had said.

"Alright, I'll get you another suit." Antonio smiled, and switched their coffees to their original orders; after all Antonio hated black coffee and preferred for the coffee's natural taste to be hidden completely under sweetness as he hated bitter drinks and preferred sweet things since he had a severe sweet tooth.

Lovino gave him a look that conveyed both gratitude and frustration; he clearly seemed to blame this whole mishap on Antonio.

They ended up both calling off work, so that Lovino could get a new suit, change, and have his stained one cleaned to the best of someone's ability, and Antonio was in charge of paying for it all.

This ended up not being the last time that they met when their orders were screwed up, but that did nothing to stop them from going there.

Eventually, Antonio began to appreciate black coffee as it reminded him of Lovi, and meant that he'd see him soon.

Lovino still hated the taste of whatever far too sweet coffee that Antonio happened to order that day, but could almost look forward to see the other again; only for his precious, black coffee, of course.

Gradually they started to arrive together, order together, and eventually date.

When they did date inviteably, they still seemed to share their coffee, but this time it wasn't because of a mistake at the coffee shop.

Instead it was at Antonio's insistence, and Lovino continued to hate the flavors that Antonio tried; the Spaniard never seemed to like to order the same thing twice.

They continued to share coffee even after they moved in together, and stopped visiting the place in favor of making coffee at him out of a fancy coffee maker that they had saved up for together.
