Dean said Castiel was different from Uriel,
that he understood.
Sam believed him,
until Castiel defended Uriel.
He didn't get it, how could he be on both sides?
How could he believe there is a way to save the world with out killing people,
and not be against someone who thinks otherwise?
But then Castiel explained,
and it made sense to Sam.
Uriel, to Castiel, was Dean, to Sam.
They are brothers.
Just like Sam and Dean.
Sam knew that sometimes him and Dean disagreed,
that sometimes Dean thought that someone couldn't be saved from their fate, when Sam did.
He knew that Dean could be a jerk to someone,
because he didn't trust them,
that he didn't believe in them.
And Dean was usually right.
So he realized that Uriel was probably judging him appropriately,
because he was like Dean
And Castiel was like Sam.
Just as Sam had believed in the others like him, Castiel believed in Sam.
Castiel was blind,
Sam was blind,
and when it came to Sam, Dean was too.
Uriel was the only one who could see,
and he could see that they were doomed.
Luckily Sam and Dean's encounters with Doom always ended well.
and Sam was looking forward to the day that he proved Uriel wrong.
He couldn't wait until the angel would apologize,
and Sam would forgive him,
because he already had.
