Title: In Vino Veritas

Summary: Greg and Sara get a little…drunk. Just fun, no pairings. One shot.

Rating: K, just to be on the safe side.

Disclaimer: I don't own CSI. Bummer.

The party was going great. The dedication of the new laboratory was underway and bottles of wine and champagne were being passed around. Everyone was having a great time talking and dancing except for Sara. She had had a rough day. Her case wasn't going too well. It had rained the night before and had washed awayallher evidence. Greg picked up two bottles of wine and headed toward Sara. She was sitting in her corner, all alone. He coughed to get her attention. She looked up wearily.

"Hey," Greg started. "Want a little pick-me-up?" Sara sighed.

"Sure, why not?" she said, grabbing one of the bottles. She took a swig. Greg opened his bottle. He chugged about half of it in one gulp. They talked quietly, drinking their bottles up. An hour later though, things began to get very interesting.

"So," Sara asked Greg, weaving slightly, "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," Greg told her.

"When was the last time you went commando?" she asked him, giggling. Greg thought for a while.

"College, the washing machine in the dorm broke and I could only wear one pair of boxers for so long. They began to get so hard, I could crack 'em in half!" Greg told her. Sara began to laugh.

"Really? I'm going commando now!" She fell out of her seat, shaking with laughter. Greg went to go help her up, but ended up right next to Sara on the floor. "Your turn," Sara snickered.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," she said. "They're the most fun."

"Have you ever had dirty thoughts about Ecklie?" he asked. This would be good.

"Yeah, I thought about French kissing him in front of Grissom, just to get him jealous," she whispered conspiratorially.

"Ooo, juicy!" Greg exclaimed. They crawled under the table, like 4 year olds hiding in their secret club. They continued to play truth or dare, getting more and more drunk with each sip of wine. Sara told about her pet rock collection from her childhood and Greg told her all about the times spent at sleepovers making out with pillows. They were so absorbed in telling secrets and laughing, that they didn't realize just how loud they had gotten. Nick pulled out his camera phone and took several pictures of Greg and Sara. The whole department was listening to their stories. Grissom turned to Catherine. "I guess the old saying is true," he told her. " 'In vino veritas'. There is truth in wine."

The End.
