Moments like this were so rare nowadays, moments where MC and Jumin could enjoy each other's company without any interruptions. The outside world seeming so far away as they gazed out of the window at the falling snow, just a gentle dusting but MC could feel the stress leaving her love's body as they sat there. Her head against his shoulder and her hand in his for so long they felt as if they had really become one.

As the sun set over the buildings and the lights of the city began to flicker on MC kissed his cheek and stood up, Jumin still holding her hand in defiance.

"I should get going before it gets too late, my dear."

He leaned forward and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her down into his lap and burying his face in her neck.

"But it's so cold out there, you'll catch a cold."

Mc laughed softly and pulled his arms from around her, kissing one of his hands.

"I really must go, Jumin. If Zen and Yoosung don't hear that I've returned home they'll have a cow. You remember how it was the first time I came to your home, don't you?"

Jumin groaned in protest as she moved away from the couch.

"Let them complain, it doesn't bother me. It's none of their concern anyhow, what we do is our business." He said as he followed behind her as she went to find her belongings. Since he decided to show up at her job unannounced all she had with her was her purse and work apron. She had found a part time job, despite Jumin's protests, at a near by bookshop. Jumin tried to tell her that he would cover everything for her, she was his princess now and should be treated as such, but MC wasn't hearing it.

She set her purse on a table near by as she knelt down to put her shoes on. Before she could kneel down though, Jumin took her hand in his and swept her into a waltz as if she was nothing more than a feather. She laughed as his arm tightened around her waist, pulling her body against his.

"The snow is practically up to your waist MC, you will freeze to death if you go out there."

"If you're so worried, why not lend me a coat?" a smile tugged at her lips as they continued to dance into the living room.

"Or..." A smirk, the smirk, appeared on his lips, "Why don't you stay under the covers here with me."

"People will talk if they know I stayed with you. Your father will hear and..."

They stopped spinning and he kissed her forehead,

"Let them talk."

He kissed her cheeks,

"But your father..."

Her nose,

"He will be fine."

Her hair,

"But..."

Her knuckles,

"Baby, it's cold outside. Stay with me."

MC let out a sigh. How could she possibly leave this man over a little bit of snow and gossip?

She caressed his cheek and brought his face down to hers. Their lips met in a soft and sweet kiss, he had won and he knew it.

"I'll get the blankets if you get the wine."

Jumin's lips split into one of his rare, teeth showing smiles as she spoke. He kissed her cheek before walking off to get the drinks and she shrugged inwardly to herself.

At least she could say that she tried.
