THE GIANT'S REVENGE
CHAPTER ONE:
THE KILLER BAKER
Gregory
So here's how it ends, on a mountain fighting a hopeless battle with a giant its whole army. My friends and I were circled with different kinds of monsters I do not dare to speak of, and for my other friend who betrayed me along the way, I wish he didn't do it. If I die here right now, at least I die with honor and my friends, and at least I get to tell you the story about it. But before this all began lets back up. I can still remember when my life just began to become weird, just about a week ago…
Class was so boring that day. Gregory was sitting on the furthest seat from the professor and decided to take a nap. But his small nap idea became so wrong when his dreams caught him…
The first thing he noticed about his dream was himself. He looked so different. He was shining bright literally, his whole body was glowing, and he noticed a bow on his hand and a set of arrows notched up on his back. But the thing that he noticed the most was the place he was standing on. It was a moving mountain, no wait, it was a giant made of earth. He looked below where everywhere the giant stepped on, small humanlike figures appeared but this humanoid figures where made of the earth's essence. Then he slammed his staff to the ground and the earth released an earthquake so strong it made the San Francisco quake look only like a small crack in the ground, and I saw the fissure go further away in the distance
"Where are you little hero?" the giant bellowed, "If you don't show up I will blast your maiden to pieces!" Only then Gregory noticed behind him was a beautiful girl in a cage like his age, about 12 or 13 maybe. She was struggling on her chains in her cage which mini giants guarded. He was surprise that they didn't see him. He walked up to the girl, which was the only person that noticed him.
Her eyes widened as she saw him. "You have to help me" the girl pleaded to him "You have to kill the giant in his weak spot. Stop him and his army from destroying every living creature on the earth! You have to stop him!" before I could answer I woke up to the sound of alarms in our classroom.
"Everybody get out! It's an earthquake!" Mr. Budge, our history teacher, shouted out loud.
And with that I ran for the nearest exit I could find and I ran across the street to the nearest strong building I could find, which was a small little bakery. The bakery's sign said o artopoiós dolofónos which I figured was something in another language, the weird thing, was the bakery didn't seem to shake at all. So I ran to it finding people eating pastries and other sweet delights like there was nothing happening outside. Unmindful of myself I sat down on a couch and I ordered a chocolate muffin. When I tasted it I felt my mouth was in heaven, every bite was like eating a piece of pure chocolate. It was so good I forgot what happened outside a few moments ago. I just simply had to meet the baker responsible for this heaven's delight treat. I asked the waitress if I could go see the baker and she said at the back door. So I followed orders I walked up to the back door had the label again o artopoiós dolofónos. I mean what's up with that word. Anyway I walked inside and I saw the most gruesome thing I saw in my whole life.
