Rose was bored. It had been a while since she'd seen the Doctor, and she'd just finished a book. So she set off to find him.
The TARDIS helped her, because soon she was approaching a room where she assumed the Doctor was. And it sounded like he was... watching TV? In fact, Rose was sure of it - and she was sure that the programme sounded familiar, too. She walked into the room, and the Doctor didn't notice, he was so absorbed in the show. He was curled up on a rather comfy looking couch, gripping a bowl of popcorn tightly, every now and then absently putting a few kernles in his mouth. A familiar face flashed up on the screen, and before Rose had a chance to think it through, she blurted out,
"Doctor, what are you watching?" The Doctor jumped quite visibly, sitting up straight and instantly reaching for the remote. Popcorn all over the floor, he fumbled with the remote until he finally got it to turn off. If Rose had've thought, she would've waited for a few moments, and figured out what he was watching first.
"Rose! Didn't see you there!" He said, his voice too nervous for him to have been watching TV.
"Doctor, if you don't say, I'm going to assume it was something far worse than what it probably was." She warned, crossing her hands over her chest. The Doctor actually looked confused at this, and tilted his head to the side slightly.
"What would you assume it was?" He asked innocently. Rose, realising he had no idea, merely grinned. "What?" He said, even more confused.
"Let's just say... what would Captain Jack watch?" She said, knowing she'd enjoy his reaction. After a moment of thought, his eyes went from wide with innocence to wide with shock, his eyebrows raising and mouth opening slightly in a mixture of surprise and disgust.
"Rose! I- Ew, Rose! Why would I even own that!" He complained, appalled.
"Well, Jack has spent time in the TARDIS. I'd be willing to bet that he'd get some in somehow."
"Yes, I'd bet that too." Mumbled the Doctor.
"But I'm not going to let that distract me." She said firmly. "If you don't tell me, I'll assume it was that. And I'll tell people."
"No! It's not that. Okay, it was..." The Doctor mumbled the next bit, and Rose was shocked to see him actually blush.
"Doctor..." She began, and rounded the couch. On the floor was the boxset of the show he'd been watching. Rose took one look, then burst out laughing.
"Rose!" The Doctor whined, the pitch of his voice greatly damaging his dignity. "Stop it, okay? It's a good show!" He said, snatching the case away from her and hugging it close to his chest. Rose could barely breathe, and when she finally calmed, she could only get one word out before she burst into another fit of giggles;
"Glee?"
So, my sister was watching Glee, and I was watching it behind her for a bit, and because for some reason she thinks that me watching Glee would embarrass me, she turns and says, all taunting and such, "Are you watching Glee?" And then, BAM! This came to me. Didn't quite turn out exactly as I'd... envisioned it, but I'm fine with it. It just seems like such a Ten thing to do. 'Course, if you wanted, it could be Nine. Ah, Nine watching Glee. LOL.
Anyways, review please!
