Am I the only one who's ever wondered what the boys did with Marko's body in the time before the epic action scenes? This is my interpretation of what might have happened. Warning: potential OOC-ness.

Disclaimer: If I owned The Lost Boys, do you really think I'd be a nerdy public high school girl? Hah, no, I'd be rolling in money with my own personal sweet tea fountain, probably. Anyway, I don't own the characters or setting. Enjoy! By the way, the title is The Cure's.

Dwayne's P.O.V

I stood near the entrance of the "bedroom", surveying the scene. David had come down off his rage-driven rampage and was sitting on the floor, head in his hands. Paul looked at me as if to say, "what now?". I didn't know, to be honest. How could they have done this to us? What sort of person would sneak up on us when we were at their most vulnerable and kill our friend? Well, now the Frog brothers can brag about their first vampire kill. It pained me to look at Marko, lying there with the stake through his chest. I knelt down next to him, turning him on his back. I closed my eyes, pulled the piece of wood from his chest, and tossed it into the shadows. I turned my attention to my friend's body. It sounds clichéd, but he looked peaceful. "I hope they've got room for you somewhere, 'cause there's no way you're going to heaven, bud.". I laughed bitterly. A funeral was out of the question; it's not like we could get a priest. Why him?, I thought. Even if he wasn't, he looked so innocent with his blonde hair, blue eyes and short stature. Everyone loved him. He was our little brother. I went push my hair back, only to discover my face was wet. Was I crying? No, I don't cry. Not me. I looked up, startled to see Paul and David standing over me. "Come on", said David simply. "We can't leave him here." Gently, I lifted Marko off the ground.

He was always fascinated by the ocean, delighted to see the waves come in and out. So, that's where he went. I personally think Marko would be happy with his resting place, because we dumped him in the sea. And I'm pretty sure that's illegal these days.
