Cute, fluffy, please enjoy!

Axel watched as the flickering flame slowly crawled and twisted its way up his arm completely harmless. He sighed sadly, quickly putting out the flame with a flick of his wrist. He'd long accepted the fact that no matter how hard he tried, nor how passionately he wished, he would never feel warmth, heat, a burn practically no change in temperature at all. Just of part of being able to manipulate fire he reasoned. Even standing on the hottest beach Florida has to offer in the middle of summer with a snow jacket could barely pry out a drop of sweat. He had been trying to explain this to Roxas as they sat up on the clock tower.

"So, can you get sunburn?" Roxas asked clearly still confused.

"Yes, it just doesn't hurt." Axel answered.

"Then, when you said you could feel almost no heat at all, what did you mean? What do you feel?" Roxas questioned brushing a single strand of blonde hair out of his face.

He leaned back against his palms, unconsciously brushing up againstAaxle's arm, and slightly overlapping his fingers and Axel's.

Axel sighed and let out a small chuckle. That was it, the heat. When they touched he swore that he was all but burning. Yet the burn was pleasant, addicting, you couldn't help but want more of it.

"No time like the present" Axel thought to himself.

He been wanting to tell his lovely blue-eyed best friend how he felt about him for quite sometime. Taking a deep breath he leaned down and grabbed Roxas's chin softly, and tilted his head up before briefly placing his lips over his best friend's. Roxas didn't object. Rather, he returned the kiss softly for a slight moment before pulling back an inch and smiling.

"Well, that was unexpected" he mused, lips practically still touching Axel's.

"Well, you asked, and I answered." Axel replied.

Roxas didn't look like he quite understood, so Axel continued, "You Roxas, you're the heat, you're my warmth."

"Oh...your welcome then." Roxas laughed while leaning up to place a sweet kiss on Axel's nose before returning his eyes to the now setting sun.

Axel smiled, lacing their fingers together, consumed with his thoughts, all revolving around Roxas, his little ball of fire.
