Hi my name is Nikki McSmith. I am sixteen years old. I have blonde hair, brown
eyes and I am very slim. My dad's company transferred him to Albuquerque so I
now go to East High. But this story isn't about me. No, it is about how a simple
science project got two people in jail. Now you're confused, well let's go back to
about a month ago. When I first moved here.
It started off as a normal day for me. Get up, get breakfast, and get dressed and
ready to go to a new school. My dad and I moved a lot because of his company.
My mom died when I was five and ever since my dad takes every chance he has to
move. When I got to school I realized it was a lot bigger than my old school in
Florida. I asked a student were the office was, he looked like a jock and I figured
I would never talk to him because I am what everyone calls a science geek
without glasses. I went to the office and the principal greeted me and told me
about the scholastic team here. Then he gave me my schedule and told me to wait
in a chair because he got a student to give me a tour of the school because it was
so big. That is where it all started because the girl who gave me the tour became
my best friend and she showed me her boyfriend and her other friends and after a
week we were always together.
"Now class, as you know the science fair is coming up" My science teacher said,"
It is worth half your grade so do not turn in something such as a paper towel
experiment." Everyone laughed then the bell rang. When I got out of class I met
my friends, Troy and Gabriella. They had perfect lives or so it seemed, then I had
an idea. What if I get a tiny camera and microphone and put it on their shirt or
something then I could prove to everyone that everyone has a non-perfect life
even if it seems like they have a perfect life. When school was over with I decided
to go home to figure everything out.
The next day I want up to my friends and noticed that Troy had a big bruise on his
left cheek. "Hey! What happened to your face?" I asked him.
"I hit it while getting out of the shower" he answered.
I didn't believe him. I thought the best way to put a camera slash microphone on
him was to install in like a pin. I told him that it was part of science project and
he needs to wear it at all times except in the shower. I told him it was to see how
much dust and dirt would get on it in a matter of two weeks. He believed me. I
passed by Gabriella in the hall. I told her the same story and she believed me. I
heard her stomach grumble and because it was lunch if she wanted to come with
me. She told me that she wasn't hungry and she was going to go to the library.
Weird? Something was going on with my friends and I had a feeling that my
science experiment would help me find out what's going on.
A/n. What did you think? Love it? Hate it? Review.
