Chapter 2-The Portal

It was 10:00 in the morning. Ocire woke up after his alarm had been going off for about three hours. He didn't realize how late he was until he gotten ready for school on that dreadful Monday morning, on January 1, 3030. He looked at the alarm time and it said 11:00 a.m. His school started at 8:00 and lasted until 4:30 in the afternoon. No one else was home. He was just about to leave then the phone rang. Dang! He thought. He knew it was the school calling to make sure he was okay. Why they cared, I couldn't tell you. He was one of the worst kids in school. Breaking kids glasses, shoving kids into walls, doing bully stuff. He was suspended more days than he was at school. All the teachers hated him, even Principal Kiln (or Kill, as Ocire called him). He picked up the phone.
"What?" he said rudely.
"Are you okay Ocire? You haven't made it to school yet. Are you coming?" asked a sweet voice. She obviously had never heard about Ocire Reelings. The worst kid in school.
"Yeah. I'm comin'. Just woke up late. Dat it," still speaking rudely and trying to sound a little tougher. "I'll be there in about five minutes."
"That's great to know, dear."
"I ain't your dear!" And he hung up.
He jumped on his bike and started riding. He arrived to school in five minutes, like he had said.
I have no reason to tell you about the period he had made it to. But there is a reason to tell you about lunch.
It was 12:30. Everyone was eating but Ocire. He was doing his normal lunch routine. Walking around bugging everybody. Today he decided he would get suspended. So he walked over to some little sixth grader (he's in eighth) and punched right smack dab in the face, grabbed the kid by the shoulders and kneed him in the you-know-where. Of course Principal Kiln, or Kill as Ocire calls him, came over to Ocire and said, "You know the drill."
Ocire turned around and raised his hands, "Good bye all ya'll!" The kids cheered.
"Stop it! All you!"
"Calm down, Principal Kill."
"What was that?"
"Nothing," Ocire said trying not to laugh.
Once Ocire had reached the wait-till-schools-over-because-you-got- suspension-room. There was another 13 year old girl there. They stared at each other for a little while, then Ocire said, "Wazzup?"
"What does it look like?" the girl said arrogantly.
"Meow!!!" Ocire said, meaning he was pretending to be a cat growling at some one.
"Haha. I'm laughing," she said sarcastically. "My name's Relvoa."
Suddenly the wall at the back of the room ripped open with a loud sound. It was darker than the darker shade of black imaginable. It had a glowing in it though. A kind of pulling glow.
"Woah," the two said in chorus.
"What is that?" asked Relvoa.
"How should I know?" answered Ocire in a question tone. Hmm. Thought he. The next second Relvoa began to fall down from being pushed by Ocire. She was able to grab him, but that didn't save her. Instead, both of them fell in.
