The night, the sky and the moon
.
She looked high up into the sky and saw the moon shining brightly.
Again she thought of him and wondered if there was a moment that she didn't think about him.
A deep sigh escaped her lips as she closed her eyes and imagined his face.
It had been three years since he left. She remembered that day way to good when he had said that he was going. And she was happy for him. The last day she saw him was the day she remembered the best.
And now she wished she'd screamed then. Her heart wanted to get out of her body, wanted to go with him where ever he was about to go. She wanted to beg him not to leave. He should stay, he should stay with her forever.
But she had done nothing.
And he had left.
He had left and didn't come back.
Every day she had wondered why she had said nothing. Why had she let him go? That was the only thing in her life she regretted.
A single tear made its way out of her eye into the freedom of the night, she breathed deeply before opening her eyes again.
Then her heart stopped beating, ached, she couldn't breathe anymore.
Because of him.
Because he was here, right in front of her.
In his black robes he floated in the dark, illuminated by nothing but the moon.
He looked at her.
He smiled.
And she thanked.
She thanked the night, the sky and the moon.
She thanked them for carrying her so infinitely deep love all this infinitely long way to him.
She thanked again.
And ran to him.
