Tears of the Broken Heart
SaisaishiDragon: Wow, I'm really spitting them out tonight. Okay! I have a sudden love/hate thing for this Drew guy from pokemon, so in this one-shot he's going to die… But beautifully he shall go! Yeeeessss, that's my evil plot! Drew shall die in an amazing show of beauty and brutality! Woohoo! Meh… Don't read it if you love the guy so much. Slight Drew x May.
"Rain. Why is it always raining? The contests get canceled on days like today. Hmm? Oh, I believe we've already met. My name is Drew and I'm a pompous asshole!... Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold the phone."
Looking up at Ash innocently, May forces a smile. "Yes, Ash?" He sighs, scratching his head a bit. "I'm getting the idea that you don't like Drew." Narrowing her eyes, May bites back a comment that burned like venom to be spat out. No shit, Sherlock. "Whatever gave you that idea?" Shrugging, Ash gives her a sheepish look. "You keep raving on an on…"
Okay, yes, fascinating. How riveting the mind of a single, female coordinator must be. Getting back to the star.
Drew sat inside the pokemon center in Fallarbor, waiting out the steady rain that had come so suddenly. His mind, however, was stuck on a certain brunette. How could he have caused her so much humiliation, so much pain? Shaking his head, he stood and walked to the pc, transferring all of his pokemon to May's, including the ones on his person. It was his last testament, last thing he could think of to make everything right.
He had been out walking in the pouring rain for hours, his own tears clouding his vision more than the down pour. Leaning back against the trunk of a tree, Drew slid down to the ground, and slid a knife from its hiding place beneath his pants leg. Gripping the handle tightly in his hand, he slid the jagged blade up along both calves, carving out a jagged message into his bare skin. Pulling his hand back, he holds out one of his arms and guides the blade vertically along the underside of his arm, his stomach churning at the sight of the blood.
Growing weaker with each passing second, he brings the blade to his face and draws two jagged lines, like tears, from the corners of his eyes down along his cheeks. In one final swoop, Drew buried the blade deep within his chest just as a piercing scream echoed through his mind, his last vision being the horror and sorrow stricken face of May hovering above his as he whispered, "I've always loved you,…" and his last thought was, Damn it… I've hurt her again.
SaisaishiDragon: Blaaaarrrrrgggg… Yeah, that was short and weak, lacking detail, but so what? vv Spur of the moment and whatnot. You don't even have to review.
