Hey everyone! I've decided to write a DMC fic. I've played all the games but this time it's gonna be based off the anime series because I want it to. Let me know what you think and if I should continue or not! I don't own DMC unfortunately.

Chapter 1
"Another boring job," Dante mumbled to himself as he walked through the gate to the huge demon filled mansion. Morrison never said who hired him but whoever it was had a lot of money and was willing to pay whatever Dante wanted as long as he killed all of the demons.
It didn't take long because they were low class lusts and didn't know how to fight someone stronger than them. "How much are you gonna ask for?" Morrison asked when Dante got back to Devil May Cry.
"I'll think about it and discuss it with the person that hired me," Dante said with a grin. "If I don't like them I'll ask for a lot," Dante concluded while falling back into his trademark position at his desk.
"Oh I think you already do like her," Morrison replied with a wink.
"Do I know her?" Dante asked curiously.
"You'll see," Morrison said leaving the shop. Dante stared in confusion after Morrison for a few minutes before deciding to call the number Morrison left him to collect his money. He grabbed the yellow sticky note and entered the numbers into his ancient phone and waited for an answer, apparently from a woman according to Morrison.
"Hello?" answered a feminine voice that Dante couldn't help but think he heard somewhere.
"Uh hi this is Dante from Devil May Cry and I was just calling to tell you I finished killing those demons in the mansion," he said in a smooth voice.
"Oh, Dante! I haven't heard from you in eight years!" the voice on the other end exclaimed and suddenly, Dante realized who the voice belonged to and he sat up in his chair.
"Patty?! Wow I didn't think I would ever hear from you again! How are things with your mom?" Dante asked, leaning back into his chair and putting his feet back in their usual place on his desk.
"Oh everything's OK but she's been really busy lately and Morrison said you were slow on jobs so I decided to let you have a little fun," Patty said and Dante could practically hear the smile in her voice.
"Have you and Morrison been in contact all of these years?" he asked her, curious to see if Morrison has been keeping something secret from him.
"No I came to Capulet City the other day and ran into him and we talked for a while, mostly about you, and I told him about the mansion by my house that was filled with demons and decided to offer the job to you," Patty said with a girlish giggle at the end of her story.
"Wow, next time you're in the city you should stop in and see me," Dante said, wondering how she looked at eighteen years old.
"I'm still in the city on a mini-vacation so I can stop by now if that's OK?" Patty asked, trying to mask the hope in her voice.
"Of course! I'm warning you now though, I haven't had anyone clean my house in eight years," Dante said with a grin as Patty let out an annoyed sigh. He could already tell this would be a VERY interesting encounter.
