Disclaimer: I'd Just like to state for the record I DO NOT OWN Kiba.
Author's Note: You're all probably wondering where I came up with this. Well, when I watched Kiba, I'd always felt bad for Mikki. He felt so guilty about not being able to save his teacher even thought the man was far from saving. I felt that if he had gone with Zed and faced Dumas, he could see the truth and get closer a lot sooner. Well, here it goes.
Take Me with You
After hearing that Zed and the girl from Zymot had escaped, Mikki had run out of the house and went looking for them. He had a feeling where they were going and wanted to go with them. His hope was that if he could get to his teacher in time, he could reach him and bring him back to Templar. He looked all over the woods and could not find them. Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming his way.
"Oh no. I have to hide. But where?" He asked, and then he saw a bush and ducked inside.
As he waited in the bushes, Mikki saw two Templan soldiers run past him. Once they were gone, Mikki sighed in relief and got out. He was about to try looking for Zed and the girl again when he saw a bright light not far from where he was. He was curious, so he went to check it out. He ran towards where the light was and until he found himself in a clearing.
There, he saw a portal for shifting. Standing inside of the portal were the girl that Zed and Roya brought to his house earlier, another woman he did not recognize, who looked very strong judging by her muscles, and outside of the circle was Zed. The girl held her hand out to Zed and spoke to him.
"Come with me to my Kingdom, Zed," she said to him, "Come to Zymot."
When he heard that, Mikki remembered that as the place where the shard casters were going to go to find Dumas. This was his only chance if he wanted to even try to save his teacher.
"Wait!" Mikki yelled as he came into view. Zed and the women saw him and were surprised. "Take me with you."
The muscular woman looked at Mikki and said, "Like heck we are, kid. Zymot is no place for someone like you."
"Please, you have to let me go with you!" Mikki pleaded.
The girl, whom Mikki remembered was called Rebecca, sighed and said, "Look, I know your heart is in the right place, but Zymot is too dangerous. You could get hurt or killed."
"I don't care," said Mikki, "My teacher's there. I have to help him, he's not thinking clearly."
"Mikki, Dumas is a traitor. Everyone in Templar knows it," said Zed, "You can't help him anymore than I can even if I did want to help him."
"I can try!" Mikki snapped. Then he calmed down and added, "I'm not taking 'no' for an answer. I'm coming with you guys, and you can't talk me out of it."
Zed and the women were silent for a moment. Then Rebecca finally spoke up and said, "Fine. Come into the circle."
'Yes!' Mikki said in his head. And then he ran over to the circle and went inside. Zed was still trying to decide whether or not to go with Rebecca. Suddenly, he heard Roya calling and then saw her arrive.
Seeing Roya, Zed backed away into the circle and prepared to leave. Roya was about to stop him, then she noticed Mikki and nearly freaked out.
"Mikki? What're you doing there?" she asked.
Mikki had no idea how to explain to her what he was doing or why. All he could say in before he left was, "I'm sorry, Roya. I have to go."
And with that, the four disappeared, their destination, Zymot.
