"Derek, do you love me?" Alexandra asked. Derek turned to the redhaired beauty sitting in his arms.

"Why do you ask?" he asked back. She laughed and responded, "Why are you answering my questions with more questions?"

Alexandra tilted her head to the side and stared into Derek's brown eyes with her equally brown eyes. She melted in those eyes. Everytime she looked at them she

was reminded of chocolate. "Alexandra Underwood, I love you more than I love hockey!"

Alexandra faked a gasp. "Oh, should I feel honored?" "Only if you don't want to be tickled." Alexandra jumped up.

"No. You. Will. Not." Derek jumped up and chased after her. When she was running she screamed and fell. "Gross. What am I sitting in?" she questioned.

She looked around on the floor only to see red punch on the floor.

"Edwin! Lizzie! Get down here."

The middle children ran down the stairs.

"What are you blaming us for now?" they said at the same time.

"Who spilled the-" was all he could say before Casey came in the door squealing.

"Oh look Alex. The farmer let the pigs out," Derek said.

Casey looked at him and said," You know what? I am in such a great mood that not even your insults can bring me down." Then she ran up to her room.

During this the two other children were slowly making their way up the stairs but didn't get far.

"Where do you two think you're going?" Derek questioned.

They groaned and came back down.

"Who spilled punch on the floor and didn't clean it up?"

"God Derek. You sound like your mom." Alexandra said. She took a couple steps away when Derek turned and glared at her. Then he turned his head when Edwin said something.

"I did. Sorry." he said. "Can we go now?" Lizzie butted in.

"Whatever." Derek said and with a wave of his hand they ran upstairs.

"What does the almighty Alexandra want to do now?" he asked.

"I think you already know." She laughed while Derek groaned.
