Sasuke Uchiha had picked the absolute worst day to pick on Sakura. Furthermore, in his absence, the heir had missed the memo about her super-human chakra control. Ignorance is no excuse! SHANNARO!!! The Inner Sakura fumed, punching her hallucinated fists into the air, urging the real Sakura to jump into action.

"You really have no idea what your talking about," Sakura said shakily, pressing down the murderous urge bubbling inside her. Mistaking the shakiness in the kunoichi's voice for a emotional preamble to endless water-works, Sasuke smirked and pushed his point a little farther.

"Really? Because as I recall, you have just about the weakest punch I've ever seen." Kakashi and Naruto took a step back. Sakura took a step forward.

"Well its been a while hasn't it Sasuke-KUN." So wrapped up in his own reassured smugness, Sasuke barely noticed the emphasize on the now discarded honorific. A reflex caused Sasuke to step back. Sakura stepping toward you either meant a hug or a hit.

"Hn." Sasuke leaned against the tall rock behind him. By now, Kakashi and Naruto had retreated to behind a tree at the edge of the training grounds.

Sakura's face changed, the blotchy anger transforming into a flat, but triumphant mask. She held up her index finger and gestured to it widely like a magician's assistant. She placed the finger on the rock surface, inches from Sasuke's ear. The ex-missing-nin kept his indifferent gaze locked on his teammate's eyes. Inside, Sakura felt chakra rush to her finger tip. Not too much now, she thought sarcastically.

Wordlessly and deliberately, she drew her pointer back, creating a single knuckle. In a flash, she flicked her finger forward, like she was casually picking dirt off her arm. The great column of earth behind the Uchiha crumbled into a mix of fine dust and rubble as he fell into the mess behind him. He looked at his teammate in awe.

Sakura mustered one of her old smiles, the kind that she gave whenever she presented Sasuke with an apple or a valentine.

"Imagine if I had used my fist, eh Sasuke-kun?"

A/N Uhh… the end reminds me of "Smile" by Lily Allen. Didn't mean that to happen... Eh?
