Harry Potter and Blaise Zabini had been friends for a long time- in secret of course. They had met in the muggle world when they were both just nine years old. A bond had formed almost immediately; when they met at Hogwarts again they ignored each other, only meeting in secret. It was hard and stressful and neither boy liked it. The truth was they were close closer than best friends. At first Ms. Zabini had been reluctant to allow the Boy- Who- Lived in their house, but that had quickly changed once she saw how malnourished he was.

Harry sighed once he reached the empty classroom where he was going to meet Blaise. He ran his hands through his ear length raven black hair and his emerald eyes shown with an unknown emotion. "Blaise, where are you?" Harry muttered nervously pacing. Earlier in the evening Blaise had come to him and passed him a note in the middle of the hallway. Risky but apparently it was needed. The note sent chills down Harry's spine but he pushed away the doubt and re-read the already worn parchment again.

Harry,

We need to talk, it's important. Meet me at the usual place and time.

See you soon,

Blaise

A slight noise was heard and Harry spun around only to breathe a sigh of relief, it was only Blaise. Blaise moved his arm and ran it through his short black hair, his violet eyes were focused on the ground. "Blaise… what's wrong?" Harry asked. Blaise looked at him, nervous energy pouring off him in waves.

"I- Harry you know how my mother is pressuring me to find a beau before seventh year ends, and you know how I told her I loved somebody already?" Harry felt his heart drop to his stomach with a dull thud. Blaise didn't love him. He loved some other guy who was probably hot and so much, well, more than he was. He wasn't good enough for Blaise. Harry pulled up a fake smile trying to shield the hurt in his eyes from Blaise.

"Ahhh, so you asked me here so I can give my opinion of the lucky person?" Harry croaked out trying desperately to keep his tears hidden. When he was alone, and only then, he would cry. Blaise looked at him with a flabbergasted expression.

"Harry," Blaise's voice was husky as he slowly moved forward. Harry took a few steps back and hit the wall; they were only a few inches apart now. Harry could feel Blaise's hot breath on his neck. His plump, kissable lips parted slightly to talk. "Harry don't you understand?" Blaise asked, predatory eyes raking up and down his body. Harry shook his head in the negative fashion. "Oh, Harry, innocent Harry. Can't you see? I love somebody in this room."

Harry paused for a second; nobody else was in this room. It was just him and Blaise… and Blaise couldn't love him. He was just, just Harry! "I- What…?" spluttered Harry looking at Blaise with confusion written across his face. Blaise sighed for a moment giving Harry an 'Are You That Stupid' look. Harry shrugged sheepishly. Before Harry could react Blaise's lips descended on his own.

And Harry was in heaven. He was loved.
