Hi everyone
Disclaimer: Lion King don't belong to me. Remake of my old story, 'A Different King' I want to make things different so I'm taking it upon myself to remake this story. Somethings may happen the same but some may happen differently. I read it and realized that I made a lot of mistakes and also put useless stuff in there but not this time - this time I will make it. Approved and different. Instead of adding my own villain, I have a different plan but you will have to wait and see. Btw, Taka will be name Takaia and is the older cub. Also Ahadi will be good in this story, in my other stories, I make him a bad guy but for the sake of the story, he will be good. Ok I'm going to shut up now.
King Ahadi stands outside of Pride Rock, pacing back and forth. The Pride Lands have always been a peaceful place, from the time of the first King all the way to King Ahadi. Today, however, is the day the heir to the throne will be born, since Ahadi's mate, Queen Uru, is pregnant. One day his time of ruling will set, and his son or daughter's time will rise.
Screams echo through the cave and it takes all Ahadi has inside of him to not run in and make a scene. More screams are heard and Ahadi is very sure he will cringe. Suddenly, the screams stop, and Ahadi gets worried and fears the worst. What if Uru is dead? What if his cub is dead?
At the very same time, Rafiki comes out of the cave and walks up to Ahadi.
"My king, I am very happy for you. You have two adorable and healthy cubs."
Ahadi runs inside the cave to see a few lionesses surrounding his mate. One of them is named Krystal, one is Sira, and the other is Sarah, who are all expecting cubs two to three sunrises from now. All of them move out of the way and Ahadi sees two bundles of fur resting in their mother's warm embrace.
Ahadi smiles at the cubs who were just licked by their mother. The brown cub opens their eyes and looks up. Ahadi can see this cub is a boy. He notices the cub has green eyes like his and looks much like his mother. The other cub opens their eyes, revealing he is also a boy, having Ahadi's golden skin and amber eyes.
"Which one was born first?" Ahadi asks with a sigh.
Uru looks at both of her cubs and then motions to the brown one.
"Apart by a few seconds."
"So that means that he is the heir," Ahadi says with a nod.
"Yes. However, what shall we name them?" Uru asks her mate.
"He shall be named Prince Takaia..." Ahadi said, pointing his finger to the brown one.
"And he shall be Prince... Prince Mufasa." Ahadi motions to the golden one.
"No matter who is older and who is younger, they both are perfect," Uru says as she nuzzles her mate.
"Agreed. We shall tell them who will be king when they're older but let's enjoy them for the time being."
In her paw, Takaia wrap an paw around his younger brother and pull him closer. Ahadi pray to the great kings things will always be like this and the cubs won't have to face challenges as they grow up.
TLKTLKTLK
The next day, both of the cubs were to be shown to the whole kingdom by Rafiki. All of the animals came to pride rock, Ahadi standing on top of his throne with pride. The majordomo, Zuzu flew to pride rock. She landed on the rock and bow with a smile, Ahadi smile as well with pride. Rafiki walk pass every single animal as the light rest on him. He climb up and greeted the king, they both share a hug. A purr stop them and both of them snapped there heads around. They both have enter the cave and saw Mufasa and Takaia sleeping between their mother paw. Rafiki wave his stick around, both of them try to reach out for it and try to get it. Rafiki crack an melon and place it on both of the cubs head, placing sand on them, sneezes came from them, he grab both of the cubs with his hands. He begin to walk out, all of the animals couldn't wait to see the royal cubs. Rafiki raise them both up and show them to the entire kingdom, all of the animals cheer, as Rafiki hold them both up for several minutes. The light from the sky shine on the cubs. Soon, Rafiki hand Takaia to Ahadi and Mufasa to Uru. Then they both walk inside of the cave.
