AN: A friend prompted me to write a Doctor Who children's story. This is what became of it.

One day, the Doctor was throwing a party for his companions. He made them a big cake to share.

(Okay, so maybe he didn't make it, more stole it from Donna's wedding that never happened, but no one else knew that. It was the good thing about time travel.)

To make sure that no one would steal the cake, he locked it in a vault in his room of the TARDIS.

Now, the thing was, the TARDIS was not happy that the Doctor was throwing a party inside of her. He didn't even ask her if it was okay! So, while the Doctor put up party decorations and made plans, the TARDIS made her own plans to get back at the Doctor.

One day, after he had finished decorating and preparing, the Doctor set out to find his old companions. The first place they stopped was in the heart of London; the lady that the Doctor went off to find was ginger and sassy and the TARDIS quite liked her.

While the Doctor was gone, the TARDIS focused her energy into his room, just long enough to steal a peice of the cake. He wouldn't notice because he would be to busy explaining to the ginger lady how the universe reset and her mind was saved.

The next friend the Doctor went looking for was a bright girl, a doctor if the TARDIS remembered correctly. That always made her confused; there was only one Doctor, as far as she knew and that was the madman she had stolen on Gallifrey.

Before the Doctor and other doctor lady could get back to the TARDIS, she had stolen another piece.

If you must know, she couldn't taste it, but she bet if she could, it would be really yummy.

The Doctor didn't notice because he was too busy asking doctor lady how it was living with that man. What was his name again? Ricky? She was sure it was Ricky.

The last strays that the Doctor brought to his party were the other ginger one and the pretty one. She'd wondered where the Doctor had left them. She missed them.

While the Doctor was asking them where the bouncy haired, gun-y one they had with them went, the TARDIS snuck another piece of his cake away.

Then, the TARDIS noticed someone was missing.

"Where is the yellow one?" she asked. She knew the Doctor loved the yellow one.

He looked sad, and she wondered if maybe he had found out about the cake.

"She can't come," he said, patting the console and sending them off somewhere else.

She felt bad now. She had eaten all his cake and made him sad. But she had an idea of how to make it better.

Everyone had gathered in the console room, and the Doctor had gone to his room to get the cake. When he noticed it was missing, he looked all over, not finding it anywhere.

Looking even more sad now, he went back out to meet his friends. He sighed, telling them that his cake had disappeared.

"But what is that then?" asked the sassy ginger lady.

The Doctor looked over and couldn't help but smile. Sitting on the other side of the console was a cake - made by the TARDIS herself - of the yellow one. She liked it when the Doctor smiled.

As she watched the Doctor and his friends eat the cake, she couldn't help but wonder if it tasted any good.
