Ruby walked in and sat on the floor beside the other Hoenn Dexholders. He fixed some papers in his hands before setting them down and clearing his throat. "Welcome back to Emerald Never Wins," he smiled to the camera. "This episode is brought to you by our sponser." Red looked out from the blanket covered boxes between everyone.
"Pencil and paper! Let's get back to the basics!" Red said, holding up a pencil and sheet of paper, before pulling himself back under the box.
The camera moved back to Ruby. "Today, we have a very simple game. Under that cloth-" the host glanced at the table, "-there's an object. All you have to do is remove that cloth and identify the object underneath it. Can you do that?"
Emerald smiled confidently from the other end of the table. "Yeah-" Ruby grabbed his hand and glared.
"Stop, stop. I didn't say go yet," he said calmly. Emerald slowly pulled his arm away, and Sapphire punched him in the arm.
Regaining his composure, Ruby stared the croissant child until he was shivering uncomfortably. "...Go."
Rald pulled the cloth off the table and looked down at the object. "Alright, well, that's a banana. So...banana. Final answer." He smirked and looked up. When the other two didn't say anything, he frowned again. "It's a banana..." Still, no one else said a word.
"Don't!" Rald shouted. "It's a banana- This is a banana!" Dramatic game show music played as Ruby death-stared him again. Finally, the coordinator spoke. "That is incorrect. The object was, in fact, a lamp."
They both looked over to see a silver lamp in the place of the banana. Sapphire was leaning ont he wall quietly, eating the banana.
"She switched it!" Emerald fumed. "It was lit- It was down there the whole time, she just swapped it for-"
Ruby cut him off by pointing to the door behind Emerald. "Get out." The younger boy glared at him.
"WHATEVER! I don't need this! This is garbage! Garbage show!" He jumped up and stormed off to the next room, muttering and stomping around.
Ruby looked back to the camera once more. "Gove it up for our 97 time Champion, Sapphire!" The camera panned over to Sapphire, who took another bite of the banana and rainsed one hand with a thumbs up.
Coco followed Emerald into the room, carrying a camera and radio labeled "Baby Cam". The radio was playing a crying baby noise, just making Emerald madder. He pushed the Delcatty away and stormed back in. "THIS ISN'T EVEN A REAL SHOW! IT'S CARDBOARD BOXES, FORGET IT!" He kicked the boxes and table over, ripping the boxes in half and throwing the cloths and blankets on top. "GARBAGE, GARBAGE SHOW!"
When he was done and stood panting, Ruby stood up. "Thank you guys for watching!" Coco came back to him with the radio, and he changed the track to a happy tune before turning the camera off.
