Bear with me on this, okay? I have no idea where it's gonna go… My friend just begged me to write it…So I am.

I wish I owned them, but sadly, I do not… I wish J.K. Rowling would leave them to me in her will though…That'd be nice…

Ch. 1

"Tom!" Severus ran out of the castle, following the dark-haired boy down the steps. "Wait a minute! You're going too fast!"

Tom stopped and turned on his heel, his eyes glowing with anger. "I wouldn't be going so fast if I didn't always have to deal with that brat Lucius."

Severus finally caught up to him, panting and clutching his sides. "He doesn't mean it, you know. He just wants to be a part of your gang."

Tom sighed and then continued walking, albeit at a slower pace. "Why, though? Why does he want to be around me so bad?"

Severus grinned. "I believe he said something about thinking you were handsome…" He ducked when Tom's fist came flying towards him. "I'm serious. I think he fancies you."

Tom clucked disapprovingly. "Well, I don't fancy him. In fact, I don't fancy anyone who attends this school." He looked critically at Severus. "When do you begin to attend here? Next year, isn't it?"

Severus nodded ecstatically. "Yup. I'm rather excited. Although…" He paused. "I wish I was going to be able to be in school with you. Instead, I have to listen to Lucius whine and complain about how you aren't here anymore. Even if it is only for one more year." He sniggered. "But when he leaves, he gets to come find you anyway." He winked and again ducked out of Tom's way.

"It's not funny." Tom looked almost pleadingly into Severus' eyes, then he sighed. "Oh, fine. I suppose it is. But don't go giving him the idea I like him back. Because I most certainly do not." He straightened himself up to his most menacing height, trying to drill in the importance of this statement.

Severus just smirked at him. "You only wish you intimidated me, Tom. I know you too well."

Tom shook his head. "Fine. Go back to the castle so we can send you home. You're really not supposed to see it until you arrive as a First Year. I'm surprised the Headmaster let you."

"I believe Professor Dumbledore talked him into it. He can be very persuasive at times."

Tom narrowed his eyes. "Yes, I know. Leave me be now. I promise I'll be up there to say goodbye."

Severus smiled and then turned on his heel, already billowing his robes.

Tom smirked after him. 'Yes, he will grow up to be a fine young man. One of the many I shall employ…'

I am sorry that it's so incredibly short, but I wanted to see what people would think of the idea before I ran with it… Don't kill me!!!
