Sadako sat there that night. Her ten-year-old fingers held on to the pendant. Her sword, Senshi, sat next to her, stabbed into the wood. She brushed her spiky bangs away, sighed once and looked up at the plate above.

Tifa shook Jessie's drink and poured it into her glass. She slid it down the bar to her. She looked up and saw someone she thought she'd never see again.

The stars shown brightly over the upper plates. Soft light poured from the buildings side as Mako evaporated into the atmosphere. She kneeled there, her brown bangs hanging at the side of her face. She stared at the substance for awhile before getting up to walk out into the street. She walked out of the alley and looked around. A few cars passed her and some people as well. She thought about the large Mako reactor at the city's center and how its power and the energy within it made her realize how insignificant they all really were.

The train pulled in on time. Its passengers few, save for the stragglers who jumped out of the roof. They were the usual, with the exception of the newest member. A tall, muscular, blonde man with eyes greener than one could imagine. He wielded his large sword with ease.

Barret took out the guards, the newcomer picking up two potions from them. He made a gesture and Jessie, Biggs, and the Blonde followed down the streets. On the way there, Barret came to a rather obvious question.

"Who are Spike-head and why in the hell would you want to join us." Barret pressed himself against a wall as someone went past.

"Cloud Strife. I have my reasons, you know money." He followed as the leader made the signal. They continued running until they got to the reactor's entrance. Jessie did a little computer magic and got it open. She gave them the thumbs up and they all went through. They repeated this for the next door. At the third door Barret began to speak again.

"You know why I'm doin' this?" Cloud shook his head, " Because those Shinra Bastards are sucking the life out of the planet. They're takin and takin but they ain't realizin what they doin. Soon they're gonna kill the planet. So I's figured we'd go and take out each reactor one at a time."

"Sounds good to me," Cloud Replied, darting as Jessie gave the thumbs up. They came to the elevator and allowed Jessie to perform her magic. Once on the elevator she instructed them to hit three buttons at once, which they did well. The climb to the reactors center was hard, but when they got there, something happened.

Cloud held his head, it was that voice again. He was reawaken by Barret and his consistent nagging. He plastered the bomb to the reactors center and they ran like hell. At the pipes Jessie had become stuck. Cloud helped her and they shuffled to the elevator, interrupted by a large mechanical scorpion. Cloud and Barret swiftly took it out. The elevator ride felt like forever and when they got to there destination they made it by seconds. The reactor blew, and the blast was felt for miles.

Sadako stood at the plate's leg. There was a decent sized crack, and she saw the explosion. A sense of warmth and happiness came to her. You came back to me Cloud, you came back, and tears rolled down her cheeks.
