Passing out is never fun- especially when you fall onto a table and wake up with the strangest cricks in your neck. I would know. I'm Tony Stark, brilliant, playboy, philanthropist, billionaire, and unknown to all but a few scant people a superhero.

"Uggh," was the sound I made as I sat up gingerly and blinked around my lab. Everything seemed to be in place except for the fact someone was in the cot I keep for when I just need to crash there. It was alright though as both my memories and the curly head of hair told me it was Bruce. I rubbed the back of my neck to ease the pain there and remembered working on the armor with him the night before. We did so at least once a week, the man was good and enjoyed working with him. I thought it was funny when Bruce told Ironman what all the new tricks were, as I already knew them.

I grabbed one of Bruce's stress balls and chucked it at his sleeping form, "Wake up man, don't you Avenger folk have a meeting this morning?" He barely twitched so I uncurled myself, wincing as the blood began to trickle through a sleeping leg. I hobbled across the lab and sat down next to him, poking at his shoulders in an effort to wake him.

Bruce had two kinds of sleeping, the normal kind where an ant walking across the floor would rouse him and this kind where almost nothing could. It's my theory that his heavy sleeps are to make up for the sleep he lost in the lighter version. He told me once that he used to sleep like everyone else but his time on the run had changed his habits. I smiled down at him, he only slept this way in front of me, something I felt showed his trust of me. He didn't even sleep like this in front of Cap.

Walking better now I strode from the room, JARVIS let off a fog horn like sound when the door sealed and after being sure that it was over he opened the door and peered inside. Bruce looked around warily and half glared at me as I slinked in.

"Morning Brucie!" I said jauntily and got a pillow to the face for it. "Oh shush you," I told him as he growled, "don't you have a meeting soon?" He glanced at his watch and yelped at the time, running his fingers through his hair and brushing down his shirt in haste. I laughed in merriment and left him to finish up while I got ready for the day.

I stood while eating my breakfast so the mechanical arms could snap me into my suit. Nobody would know Ironman hadn't taken a shower or shaved after all. I set the face piece into place and entered the meeting room. Only Cap was there already, if I was Tony I would have shown up last and drunk off my ass, but I was Ironman and he was a much different person.

Everyone filed in, Bruce last and still looking adorably mussed. If I was Tony he would have walked in smiled and sat next to me as I waved him over, but I'm Ironman. He walks in, hunches his shoulders, and takes the seat next to Jan.
